1º.- Participation in any activity organized by Calima surf implies full acceptance of these "Terms of Services"
Should these activities be carried out by third party companies hired by Calima surf, those companies' specific "Terms of Service" may apply. 2º.- All activities will take place Monday through Saturday according to the school's schedule. Only transfers to/from the airport will still be organized on Sundays . 3º.- Participation in any activity by children under 18 years of age will require written parental consent. 4º.- Participants in any activity must follow the instructor's directives as well as comply with all safety rules and regulations. 5º.- All equipment/material should be returned in the same conditions as was distributed to the participants. 6º .- PAYMENT TERMS: i).- In order to confirm a booking on any activity or accommodation, a 20% deposit is required. The remainder (80%) is to be paid in cash upon arrival to the camp or on the 1st day of activities. ii).- 5% I.G.I.C. (Canarian Indirect General Tax) is included in all invoices. 7º RESERVATION CANCELLATION i).- The 20% deposit is non-refundable. ii).- In the event of a cancellation 15 days before the start of the contracted activity, CALIMASURF issues a PERSONAL VOUCHER (valid for 1 year) for the amount of the paid deposit. iii).- If the client has fully paid the activity but for personal reasons does not start it scheduled, there will be no refund for the lost days. 8º.- REIMBURSEMENT FOR ACTIVITY CANCELLATION : i).- Schedules, itineraries or activities can changed or cancelled depending on weather conditions, under the sole discretion of the person responsible for the activity. Likewise, organizers may cancel any activity if the weather conditions may endanger the participants, without rescheduling or refund. Any changes or cancellation of ongoing activities for reasons beyond the organization's responsibility, do not imply refund, rescheduling or replacement. * Read additional terms for Kite Surf school. Art. 10 ii).- Lack of physical fitness by the participants or of proper personal material for the activity, is not the organization's responsibility, and will lead to the suspension or cancellation of the activity without rescheduling or refund. 9º- INSURANCE i).- The school has a Social Liability Insure for a total of € 300,000.00. Likewise, the school has a Collective Incidental Insurance that covers health care expenses up to € 691.76, permanent disability for € 13,030.64 and incidental death for € 6,515.32. ii).- Participants in Level 3 surf camps (Surfaris in reef spots) are NOT covered by any of our insurances. Upon enrollment in a Surfari, the participants will have to sign a document stating full personal responsibility for any incident/occurrence during the activity. iii).- Classes or activities lectured by an affiliated school to CALIMASURF. All insurance covering such activities is our affiliated school's responsability. * Read additional terms for Kite Surf school. Art. 10 10º.- ADDITIONAL TERMS FOR KITESURF SCHOOL i).- In our KITE SURF CAMPS (Kitesurf only), Kite classes cannot be replaced by surf classes. Should weather conditions not be suitable for Kite surfing, the client can participate in surf classes in Famara, at a cost of € 30 per day. ii).- In our combined package SURF+KITE, participants can join for free our surf classes should weather conditions be unfavorable for kite in Famara beach (extreme winds, cross winds or no wind). iii).- Whenever weather conditions are not favorable for the practice of kite surfing, the kitesurf school in Lanzarote will issue a PERSONAL VOUCHER (valid for one year) for the amount of class hours that were lost, so you can plan your next holidays with CALIMASURF. iv).- Kitesurf classes are lectured by an affiliated school to CALIMASURF All insurance covering such activities is our affiliated school's responsability. 11º - The following actions constitute grounds for an immediate cancellation of Calimasurf's contract, without being entitled to any type of refund: i).- If the client causes damages to the school or lodging facilities. ii).- If the client causes conflicts with the remaining users. iii).- If the client fosters or participates in any activities of an illicit nature or that may endanger the remaining users. In any of the previous situations, Calimasurf reserves the right to serve liable clients any lawsuits it may deem adequate for the reparation of the damages resulting of such actions. |
