Our surf school & surf camp is located in the North of the Island, in Corralejo. This location allows us to move quickly from the East Coast, West Coast or North Coast following the evolution of the swell. This guarantees surf all year round ! (beach break and reef breaks).

When I first came to Fuerteventura for a surf camp I fell in love with this island where the energy is strong. The Round House – Surf Camp
This surf house is in Corralejo, 2 steps away from the surf spot Rocky Point. It is a hostel for surfers willing to meet other people, and to share facilities in a house with other travellers! The walk distance to the main street with the night life is 10 minutes! It is a big and magnificent villa with 5 bedrooms of bunk beds & 4 double rooms, accommodating 24 guests in total. Everything is in place for you to enjoy a great stay, such as a chill-out zone with couch and TV, a spacious kitchen to cook, a terrace on the second floor with a view on the island of Lobos, even a large garden for tanning and having BBQs !

Price: from 17 EUR per person/night
Individual bedroom with double bed : from 40 euros per night/ per room (35 euros single occupancy) Note: the sheets are provided, not the towels

Lorenzo’s bed & surf – Surf Camp
It is a hostel/apartment surf camp where you can sleep sharing some services with the other guests (kitchen, living room and terrace). It’s a nice way to get to know more people and share experiences. It’s located in the centre of Corralejo, between the harbour and the Hiperdino supermarket facing the windmill. The closest beach is just 5 minutes walking distance and the bars/restaurants area is 3 minutes walking. The surf spot El Muelle is just 5 minutes walking far. It can fit up to 7 people. The location of this hostel and the personal help of Lorenzo for anything you may need give you one of the best places where to stay in Corralejo. Fast free wi-fi. Sheets and one towel/person included.

Kidz Surf Course (Keiki in Hawaiian)
We welcome unaccompanied teenagers as of 12 y.o. Each keiki is unique ; that’s why we like the parents to describe their keiki. Is He/she independent ? adventurer ? Can he/she swim well in the Ocean ? If yes, your keiki is a candidate to a surf course at our Academy !
Yours kid is less than 12 y.o? Like for the teenagers, we need to speak with you if the keiki is independent, and confident in the water. We will decide together whether the keiki can join the course or not. As a kid asks more attention than a regular surfer; we ask you, the parents, to be available on the beach to help the instructor.
The keiki receives a certificate at the end of the surf course to show that he/she became a free spirited surfer at aloha surf academy !

Private Surf Course
Our collective course is intensive, and limited to a max of 6 surfers per instructor; we don’t not offer private lessons. If you want to have a private tuition; we offer the surfari with private tips. The price is 60 euros for 2 hours in the water, plus the transfer.

Also….
The schedule of the day is flexible, combining the surf course at the beach and time to discover the island. When the conditions at the beach (tide), in the water (swell) and the school schedule allow, we take the surfers to different spots so that they can practice their new skills in different conditions.
 Our surf courses are available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch
We teach in small groups (max. 6 students/teacher) for a personalized, fun and performing course

Our surf school is appropriate for clients who wish to learn to surf or to keep on learning in a serious way. Our instructor Alex is an excellent teacher; focused on providing you with good explanations and suggestions to improve your technique, while being patient and encouraging on the beach. During the transfers or the activities; he is friendly and happy to share his daily life with you; getting to know you or introducing you to his passion – the tropical oasis he made in his garden !

Finally….
Aloha Surf Academy is a registered and approved DVW Surfschool to guarantee the highest teaching and safety standards. Alex, the instructor, has Level II certificate ISA and a beach lifeguard qualification by the Royal Life Saving Society UK.
Our surf courses require intense physical effort; therefore a break during the course guarantees better success with your surf training! This is why our school insists for our students to have a break to recover and relax a little every 3 days. Having a break for your body will mean that you have more power to practice what you learnt the previous days, and to keep on learning with the necessary energy ! In addition to the surfing, we organize social activities like BBQs, dinners, yoga , surf boat trip…

Seasonal conditions

We enjoy an exceptional climate throughout the year. The winters are warm with minimum temperatures of 20ºC and the summers are balmy with 30ºC. All this lets us enjoy 365 days a year of sunshine. The temperature of the sea varies between 17ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer.

Characterization of surroundings/region

Corralejo is a picturesque fishing town -with a small harbour and a bay with crystalline water and a scenic view of the island Los Lobos (with a wave that is known worldwide). You can find lots of different types of accommodation, restaurant with in-house cooking, surf shops to rent surf boards and supermarkets for grocery shopping. You can also book many touristic excursions.

Activities and facilities

Volcanoes hiking, the island of Los Lobos, Sand dunas, trail of the North shore with its surf spots, harbour of El Cotillo and its great cliffs, village of Los Lajares (surf city) on market day, etc. We recommend the rental of a car from the airport for a lower price.
