This place embodies what surf trips are all about Hicham -who runs the surfhouse- and his family welcome you in their home and you feel welcome from the very first moment. Enjoy authentic moroccan food in between surf, hear about how this village was founded by his grandfather and play some old fashioned games with his cousins and other family. There's a couple of breaks right in front of the village; no crowds, just you and your buddies, perfect! Within close driving distance are famous spots such as boilers and killer point. When these don't work, Tamri Beach is close which is pretty much a swell magnet. Peaceful and chilled; there are no shops or anything in the village itself; but anything you need will be taken care of by Hicham or can be acquired in nearby villages.

Desert Point, Agadir The house stands on a hillside, within a radius of 2-3 km there is no house.
Perfect place to feel the culture and traditions of Morocco. Beach is very clean, not more people. The instructor explains the understandable and accessible. Instructor (Hicham) is very kind, friendly, funny and hospitable host!
One of the main thing: his family and he are open-minded people!

Amazing experience at Moknari The place is great. A small village on the top of a hill, surrounded by Argan trees, goats, chickens, and amazing views to the sea. I was really comfortable there and it was great to experience the Moroccan way of life. I didn't know how to surf and after 3 hours, I was able to stand a on the board. I had so much fun and Hicham was really helpful. Hicham and his family are amazing people who will treat you as you were part of his family. You can play (and watch) football with them, and they are quite good actually. Also, we went to the Paradise Vally, which is really beautiful and you can swim in natural small lakes (and jump from the 10 metres top if you are brave) Definitely, a great experience for everyone looking for a different way to enjoy holidays and enrich you with the Moroccan culture! Had an awesome time out there. Awesome beach below the village where we played lots of football, jumped off the big rock and sea kayaked.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
OUR TEAM
Hicham is originally from Moknari/Desert Point village. After studying electrical engineering for five years at school and university in Agadir, he came up with the idea to start Desert Point Surf House. Wanting to offer a unique cultural experience with the combination of surfing along with many other activities, you have the opportunity to discover the traditional Berber way of life and embrace this beautiful culture.
Fayssel and Hicham have known each other for many years and are good friends. Originally from Taghazout, Fayssel studied English at university and now has his own surf shop in Taghazout.

Surf Lessons
The surf lessons are created to make you a good surfer, we offer you everything in order to improve your surf skills, all you need is to have desire and we will take care of the rest.
We will offer you a board and wetsuit in addition to a coach who will help you in choosing the waves and the exact time to ride it and to experience the joy of riding a wave.
If you never surfed before all you have to do is to join us to experience something new, and if you have surfed before and have some skills this is will help you improve it.

Paradise Valley
Only 40kms from the surf camp, the drive to Paradise Valley passes through the village of Aourir and takes you on a winding road passing the stunning landscapes of mountains along the way. Well known in the 70’s where Paradise Valley attracted many hippies and the famous Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison. With beautiful natural rock pools, many cliffs for those daring enough to do some cliff jumping, and natural waterfalls further up in village of Imouzzer. There is also the opportunity to treat your self to a choice of tagines in one of the many restaurants in the valley. Surrounded by an array of palm trees with a breath taking scenery- Paradise Valley is a trip not to be missed.

Discover these robust camels from the desert. A ride through endless dunes and explore the beach at sunset. You will have all the memories and the opportunity to experience these enchanting places Morocco has to offer.
