Dreamsea Surf Camp Moliets is located in the campsite Les Cigales*** in Moliets, France. The camp offers three star comfort and services. Facilities include wash rooms, Wi-Fi area, pétanque bowling area, tennis courts, barbecues, ping-pong, volleyball area, multi-sport, refrigerator, washing machine and spin dryer. As well as a few stores inside the camp like a supermarket, newsagent, bakery, croissant shop, boutiques, a bar and a restaurant.

Moliets is a town and famous beach resort, a part of the extensive Atlantic Coast of south-west France which is known as Cote d’Argent. This area is a cradle of excellent surf camps in Europe, and it is no wonder that Dreamsea Surf Camps have chosen this as a location for their superb facilities. Nestled between the resorts of Soorts-Hossegor to the south and Mimizan to the north, Moliets are bedecked with charming features, with more than 200km of white sandy beach hugged by the Atlantic Ocean and surrounded by the alluring landscapes that dominate the south of France.

Dreamsea surf camp has all the professional equipment you will need in order to take maximum advantage of your surf lessons. Furthermore we have all the equipment necessary for you to enjoy your summer days in the surf camp to the maximum. Sweet dreams come from sleeping well. In Dreamsea we think a good rest is an important part of having a great surf camp experience. We provide our guests with comfortable tents with quality mattresses. You won’t have to sleep on an air bed with us!

We try to have the perfect place for everyone, that’s why we have two kinds of accommodation distributed in two different areas. Our glamping tents are located in the quietest zone of the camp, perfect if you want more privacy and isolation and decide when to join the party and the surf camp life. In the other side, are the normal tents, based around the heart of the surf camp; your place if you are looking for fun, party, people and a good mood


Glamping private Tents

Because there is no reason to sacrifice comfort and luxury if you want to enjoy the great experience of outdoor holidays in harmony and contact with nature.

Glamping is a new and growing trend from the last decade, a fusion of glamour and camping. It is a perfect concept for those who love the positive points of camping and outdoor lifestyles but want to forget all those negatives aspects and enjoy complete comfort.

 

We invite you to try this new concept of camping in our double bed glamorous tents. Furnished and decorated with a cozy and pleasant taste, out of recycled materials and equipped with a very comfortable mattress.

Cozy and comfortable furnished tents with lighting and power.     All bedding included. No need to bring a sleeping bag or duvet. Perfect for couples: a romantic and private retreat. Choose when to relax or join the vibrating life of the camp. Includes a nice welcome present: bottle of wine. 


Shared Normal tents

If you are traveling with a group of friends or alone and you are looking for an amazing time, getting to know new people from all over the world, party and fun, this area is the place to be for you.

These tents are right in the epicenter of all the surf camp movement, you won’t miss a thing. Always respecting the others, after a certain hour, we have to continue partying in the clubs downtown.

Choosing this option doesn’t mean losing comfort. We offer big tents on wooden floors with proper mattresses. They are shared for one up to six people, depending on the size of the tent. Also bookable privately with an extra cost.

In case you are traveling with friends and want to share the same tent, you will need to book it together or write in the comments area while booking your surf holidays.

Shared tents for 1 to 6 people with wooden floor, light and electricity.   Perfect choice for groups or solo travelers    Be part of the surf camp life and don't miss a thing. Beds and all bedding included. No need to bring a sleeping bag or duvet.  Can be private for only 49€ extra weekly per each empty bed.

The breakfast will consist of a great buffet, with a large selection of fresh breads, fresh fruits, cheese, vegetables, cereals, milks, etc.
The surf camp chef will be in charge of cooking the dinner, delicious international dishes with a Spanish and Canary touch, of course we will offer every day an even more delicious vegetarian option. Dinner time will be a relaxing family-time perfect for recovering all the energies spent during the day, and get ready to enjoy the evening!

SURF COURSE DETAILS

Our surfing program has been specially designed by professionals of physical education, surf and sports. Created and meticulously designed for all levels of surfers and for all physical conditions. By joining our surf program you will not only be able to taste the surfing life and surf training, but you will also be able to improve your skills, and more importantly, gain the necessary knowledge to continue your training and progress at home. If you are interested in becoming a real surfer our surfing program is the key.

If you want to become a better surfer, we have the best coaching programs available to help you work in your weaker areas and achieve your goals.

We want you to enjoy and take advantage of the learning process, to improve and to rip the waves. That´s why we have divided our surfing program in three different levels. Please, be honest and realistic with your level when you are up to choose a program. Read carefully the prerequisites of our available levels and get the one that better matches your surf skills.

 

All levels welcome!!

We offer two options:  

Depending also in the time you want to spend in the water with an instructor, and your fitness level, we offer two different options, the basic surfing course of 10 hours, usually having one lesson per day, or the intensive course of 15 hours, with 2 surfing sessions per day

LEVEL 0: THE BASICS 

Get the feeling of ride small rolling and breaking waves on easy to follow steps. You will be losing your balance and falling off, enjoy the benefits of drinking salty water and stand up again. We guarantee you will stand-up having fun and a lot of laughs.

Prerequisite
None, suitable for first-time surfers or those who surf a few times before and wish to get the right technique from the beginning in order to progress faster.

 

What You Learn
Introduction to safety Beach awareness: understand the area & safe place to enter Surfing equipment Paddling How to deal with small waves How to select basic waves How to mount, position, catch and ride a wave in prone & standing position Techniques: efficient paddling, board control, standing up, correct balancing stance

 

LEVEL 1: THE PATTERNS

Leaving the Nest: Get excited, challenge yourself, understand the waves and how it works, timing & take off and perform front & back side turns.

Prerequisite
Comfortable with the basics of surfing Able to catch, balance and stand regularly and comfortably on broken waves without assistance Able to catch the occasional green small waves if the conditions let us do it

What You Learn
Determine the best time to surf Understand wave mechanics: how the wind, tide, swell, currents interact and how they affect the waves How to read tide charts and swell forecast Understand what waves to avoid and what to catch First steps on timing and take off with small green waves (if the conditions let us) Basic front and back side turn as the first step to trimming the waves face

 

LEVEL 2: THE STYLISH

I want to be independent! Join the line-up and surf other waves. It takes courage, it’s exhausting and exhilarating at the same time. An adrenaline shot.

Ways to get to the camp

By plane
You can reach to our surf camp by aeroplane (you can arrange a shuttle service with us and we will pick you up in one of the nearby airports: Biarritz, Bordeaux, San Sebastian)

By train
The nearest train station to the surf camp is Dax, located approx. 40 minutes from the surf camp, you can book our economic shuttle service from Dax to our surf camp for 25€/way/person. We can also pick you up from any other nearby train stations, like Biarritz or San Sebastian.

By Bus
You can travel to Bordeaux from most of the bigger European cities, then you can book our economic shuttle service from Bordeaux station to our surf camp for 55€/way/person, to share between all the passengers.

By Surf Express
The Surf Express is also an excellent option to get to our surf camp, this is a specially bus service traveling from most of the German and other European cities to our surf camp in Moliets. You will be dropped at our surf camp, on the Saturday, and the Bus will pick you up the next Sunday for the way back home. You can see the cities and dates available in the following table (coming soon..).

By car
If you have your own car, is also a good option to get to our surf camp by car, once in Moliets, there is a lot of free-parking areas where you can safely leave your car for a week or two. Check in Via Michelín web the best roads to get to our surf camp, you can also check the distance, the approx. time you will spend and the approx. price your car trip will cost. Remember, the destination is: 40660 Moliets-et-Maa, France.
