The SURF CAMP formula is the opportunity Kalufa Surf school offers to both young and adults to enjoy their stay with the absolute certainty of being assisted in all your experiences and be accompained along the sportive course of first approach or improvement of the surf. The complete package consists of: 

•    7 night of stay in our Surf House in a shared or private room
•       5 days of surf lessons with 15 effective hours in the water
•       surf board + surf wetsuit + useful accessories
•       awarded instructors F.C.S. 1st level and I.S.A. 2nd level and first aid.
•       daily transport Surf House/school/beach and return
•       photographs of your best moments

•       free wi-fi in the school and in the surf house

In the locality of la Santa in the municipality of Tinajo in the northwest coast, immersed in the charming scenary from Lanzarote with its perfect hawaian waves, a few minutes away from the Surf School and from the suggestive beach from Famara, is located the Surf House.
The structure is a sole independent villa, provided with a wide kitchen that has plates and everything necessary to cook in a familiar communicative atmosphere.
The spacious relax zone furnished with sofas, tables, cabinet with TV and free WI-FI is the perfect place to talk and share experiences with the others guests coming from remote different realities.
The  bedrooms are individuals, doubles or with more beds and they are provided with complete furniture and clean bed clothes for the whole stay. The bathrooms with cold and warm water are spacious and comfortables.
In the exterior you could enjoy the privacy from the garden with the swimming pool, the solarium where relax and the barbecue zone for fun nights.
Gym equipment available for those who want to keep in shape in the comfort  of the home atmosphere.
To complete, an ample garage, allows the safe deposit of your sportive equipment, boards, bikes and everything else you will need.
If you are a family with children and you require more privacy we have also private apartments with one or more bedrooms to be asked for in advance

The surfhouse and the private apparments contain a fully equipped kitchen, so you can also cook for yourself. In the village there are two supermarkets, which offer everything necessary to life. If you don't want to cook for yourself, there are also more than 10 restaurants close to the camp in various price catgories.

We offer two different kinds of courses, based on your skills

Basic course

How to get on a wetsuit and its different types.
How to carry a surfboard, its basic features and accessories.
Entering the water with a surfboard.
Standard techniques to pass the white water (shore break).
Safety rules.
How to turn around with your board and positioning on the shore break.
Lie down and finding your position on the surfboard.
How to Choose the right wave.
How to paddle.
Timing to start catching the first waves.
Visual signals between instructor and students.
Basic stand up techniques.
“Stance” on the board.
How to ride a wave, first on a straight line.
First turns on the foam , cutting the foam right or left.
History of Surfing, Rules, Ocean Tides, Currents, Creation of the Waves, Weather Forecast, …

Intermiediate

Initial practical test to know and analyze your level of surfing.
Basic techniques to cross the foam and reach the real point break if conditions allowed.
Positioning us on the point break.
Sitting on our Board and manoeuvring.
Timing our paddling in order to catch the wave before it breaks.
Improved stand up technique and stance.
Riding waves on a straight line, right and left.
