ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

ACCOMMODATION TYPES

Beach Fales
Beach Fales are traditional Samoan Huts which are nothing more than cubby house style rooms.
Beach Fales sleep up to 3 people easily. There is enough space on the fale deck to leave boards and board bags as well.
Our Beach Fales sit right on the beach only a stroll away from the ocean. A lot different to your average motel or hotel room, beach fales offer an insight to how most Samoan people live their lives! With a mosquito net and mattress, this is all you need to forfill your needs.
Whether you are relaxing reading a magazine or sleeping off your tired surfing arms, beach fales are your ideal Samoan Accommodation!

Sinalei Reef Resort
Maninoa Surf Fales and Sinalei Reef Resort are offering special accommodation rates for people who want to take their Samoan experience to a whole new world of relaxation and paradise!
Sinalei is next door to Maninoa and we have worked for years working together offering our surfing service to Sinalei each and every year! This is a great opportunity to have a surf holiday in style! OR to plan your wedding celebration or conferences!

Beach Apartments
Beach Apartments are your average hotel or motel room. They are newly built and one of the only buildings in Siumu that  survived the 2009 tsunami (so you know theyre built well).
They feature a Queen Bed or 2 Large Singles, shower and toilet, ceiling fan and clothes wardrobe. They are about a 2 minute walk from the camp/fales.
They are made to sleep up to 3 people, but we usually recommend 2 people only.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

SURF COURSE DETAILS

Samoa Surfing

Not recommended for beginners.

Samoa has good wave conditions all year round! but its best conditions and peak swell seasons are from April - November with best conditions on the South Shore of Upolu. But out of peak season the waves are very good on the North Shore of Upolu.

Samoa is one of very few destinations where there are waves all year round! Very similar to Hawaii it picks up swells coming the South and Northern Oceans. Samoa is smack bang in the middle of French Polynesia with Hawaii North, Tahiti to the East, Fiji to the West and Tonga to the South. Consistent swells hit the Samoan islands from all directions caused by trade winds coming from Hawaii in the North, meaning the surf is more often than not offshore in Samoa!

The waves in Samoa are mainly reef breaks but of all different shapes, sizes and challenges. There slow rippable waves and there are fast hollow waves for those who feel like a challenge.
