You will be served three daily meals. There is a food selection of local Indonesian dishes, such as Nasi Goreng, Mie Goreng, Rendang and Padang food. You will also be provided with free drinking water, and local fruits. In the morning, there is free coffee and tea for the guests. Every morning, breakfast is served before or after the surf. You will have either banana or pineapple pancakes with chocolate milk or scrambled eggs with fresh tomato and butter toast, as well as fresh fruit, coffee and tea. For lunch, you will have Mie or Nasi Goreng, fish,chicken, or pork with vegetables and fresh fruit as desert. In the evening, you can have a fine stew, red snapper, marinated barbecue chicken with rice, potatoes, fries, noodles, and other various tasty dishes.You will love it, this is a promise.  During the day, you can have fresh coconuts whenever you like.The milk is extremely healthy, good for the muscles, keeps your cells fit, and provides a lot of of energy. So, make use of it!

During the camp you will be staying either in a dormitory room or a double room at a surf camp. The camp is located in Nyang Nyang playground Pulau Masokut which is walking distance from five famous surf spots. Electricity is available from from 06:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. everyday, and the camp has fans and power jacks in every room for charging up your gadgets, as well as showers, and refrigerator for the cool drinks and beers.

SURF CONDITIONS

A very consistent world class wave, an extremely rippable left. This spot is loads of fun and probably one of the easiest waves to surf in the Mentawai's. It's the deepest and safest wave in the area and also picks-up a bit more swell than other locales. Five more breaks in the area, including E-Bay and Pitstops. Nestled inside a small bay with one of the most scenic views imaginable all around you.
E-Bay
This is a hollow left that barrels off the take-off with a short walk down the line. A great option when a lot of swell is hitting. A hollow, fast, powerful left. A world class wave for experienced surfers. Watch out for the two rocks on the inside. Great barrels, and turns into a surfing paradise at six feet offshore. There is a heavy warble that hits as you are taking off. Make the drop and don't get thrown by that first warble and chances are you'll get a mean aqua blue barrel. The scenery alone will blow you away. Besides its aesthetic beauty, double overhead E-bay is a beast and forces to be reckoned with. Nipussi or Pussie A shorter right that breaks down the point from Bank Vaults. Definitely fun and rippable. Usually has fairly deep water from the takeoff to the inside. Ends in a riptide that sucks all the water back out to sea. A good option when there's not much swell, and usually the most consistent spot in the area.
Pitstops
It is the right off the peak at E-Bay. A playful right that can offer some cover-ups off the take-off, but mostly a high performance wave with air sections at the end. Ends in a sandy channel.
Bankvaults
This wave is an absolutely amazing right-hander when it gets good breaking in deep water in two different sections. It is the big wave of the area. Breaks in all tides but better with an incoming tide. At low tide it can be unforgiving. It can handles up to 15 feet. Great take off with a big barrel section at the end. It can be a classic Hawaiian style deep-water wave. The following surfing spots are to be found short distance (on foot) from the camp: Bankvault, Bang-beng, E-bay, Nipussi, Pistop The following surfig spots are to be found long distance (by speedboat) from the camp: Baby Kandui, Burger World, Four Bobs, Hide Way, John Candy, Krambak Left, No Kandui / Pistol, and Riffles.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flights to arrive at Minangkabau International Airport (PDG). Mentawai Ebay Playground Surfcamp will pick you up from the airport. The pick-up is included in the price.
Arrival by ferry
Mentawai Ebay Playground Surfcamp will transfer you from Padang to the surf spot by ferry, with possibility to overnight in Padang and take a ferry to Mentawai the next day. %The fast ferry leaves from Padang to Mentawai Playground on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 07.00 a.m. and will return from Mentawai Playground to Padang on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 15.00 p.m. The overnight ferry leaves from Padang to Mentawai Playground on Wednesday and Friday at 17.00 p.m. and will return from Mentawai Playground to Padang on Thursday and Saturday at 17.00 p.m. If you are coming trough Siberut, speedboat transfers from there to the camp and return are included in the price.
