ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

Built on a 2500 sq. meters wooded land, a stone’s throw away from Messanges town (between Vieux-Boucau and Moliets) and very nearby the Ocean.

Several spaces connected with walkway and wooden patios will be permitting you to enjoy the best way this place dedicated to respect of nature, self-wellness and to surf of course.

You will be staying nearby the Ocean, in the Europe biggest forest, in a surrounding respecting this gorgeous environment. Located on the Atlantic Coast, close to Hossegor and Biarritz, Messanges greets our Nature Surf Camp. Please share our passion protecting together our Nature.

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

Sleeping side, the Nature Surf Camp in Messanges is composed of:

Single-story space, quiet and peaceful, light and spacious with varied sizes.

A full-equipped dependent flat.

2 spots for minivans, camping-cars and equipped trucks.

Sanitary facilities side

Common sanitaries, light and spacious, 3 showers, 3 WCs, 3 bathrooms sinks.

Kitchen side

A 45 sq. meters place entirely dedicated to your culinary inspirations, dinners and evening meals. To enjoy all of this, a family table inside as well as a 25 square meters covered terrace.

Technical side

A local entirely dedicated to the surf material maintenance.

Chill-out side

An Indonesian Faré to enjoy the nature in a very peaceful way. A jacuzzi to relax your muscles after your daily surf session. And much more to entertain (pool, ping-pong, molki…).

By yourself or with friends: rooms with individual spaces

Composed with individual spaces specially thought to allow anyone for keeping in own privacy

 even being in the same room.

All those spaces are equipped with one single bed, one cloakroom, one small light and one plug socket.

Those rooms will suit perfectly for people people coming alone, or groups of friends.

Couples: Rooms with double beds

Those rooms are perfect for couples.

This room is perfectly suitable for families and mates:

A couple bed, small lounge and mezzanine with a single bed.

Single-story apartment with:

·         Individual kitchen and bathroom

·         Garden, terrace and own carpark

Composed with a small lounge, a room with double bed and a room with two overlaid beds.

This apartment is perfect for families and friends. It actually preserves your privacy respecting your familial rhythm.

Spots for minivans, camping-cars and equipped trucks at the Nature Surf Camp.

For the road trips passionate, or people on budget, the surf camp propose van parks with electricity, in which you can enjoy your sleep in your minivan our camping car, and also use the facilities and the friendly atmosphere of the camp.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

Schedules are set according to the tide, depending also on the weather. You can keep on surfing by yourself and keep the material after lessons. Those take place on the main beach or in the forest to the Nature Surf Camp secret spot. This depends on the option chosen.

For our lessons, whatever option you chose. We set 3 different groups with at the most 8 people:

Beginner group: You will learn to stand up at low tide for the utmost of security. Then you will discover the ocean, we’ll teach you how to improve in this background with pedagogy and explications of “baines”, currents, and sand benches with notions of weather forecast. The main goal is to reach a certain kind of autonomy taking pleasure, respecting each other rhythm.

Intermediate group: For those who already have a surf experience and who have notions of standing up and who like to give up foam and take place on the blue waves, performing achieved skills and become a confirmed surfer. Video analyses and pedagogy according to the surf conditions and each other wishes.

Confirmed group: At half tide, we will find a wave really adapted to a very good kind of improvement. For those who like perform their technical and their autonomy in the ocean. An individual pedagogic follow-up is organized with for instance video analyses, muscular backup…adapted to each other level.

Sandy best beach break ,good for beginner to experienced surfer. Very close is the moliets beach,messanges beach and full of secret quiet sand bank in between. Hossegor ,biarritz are close too. If you chose to come in octobre you can see the famous international WSL surf contest with the best surfer of the world.

Moliets/messanges are not so crowded like hossegor or biarritz .

With our local surf instuctor team you will be introduced of the local crew.

Ways to get to the camp

You can fly to Biarritz airport or take a train to Dax train station or by bus. A pick up from Biarritz or from Dax can be arranged by our service.
