Peniche, once an island, in the centuries has been forged as a peninsula by the ocean currents and sand. Well known for being a truly fishermen village, where eating good sardinhas and drinking good wines is not an issue, Peniche is a gem dropped in the Atlantic Ocean and the tour to Cabo Carvoeiro lighthouse is well worth the drive or walk. Surrounded by ancient walls the town has other interesting sites like the old fortress near the harbour, recovered as a museum or beautiful churches decorated with azulejos.
Surf wise, Peniche is nowadays motherland of some of the best surf in the world, to the south of the city, Supertubos beach, hosts every year the Rip Curl pro Portugal, a top ranked event of the world surf league.

CAMP CHARACTER

Neptuno Surf Center lies in the south of Peniche, in a quiet and secluded area in the village of Consolacao. Here a nice modern resort offers a wide choice of accomodations, ranging from hotel rooms, studios to wooden bungalow. Every accomodation has private bathrooms and some as kitchen and other facilities. The quality and comfort is assured.

The Surf Center is the focal point of our project, it has a huge variety of surfboards and wetsuits to suit every guest, from the total beginner, to the advanced surfer.
The crew will help any guest to chose the perfect equipment for his/her level of surfing, while providing group or private surf lessons. Yoga lessons and functional training are available for surfers and non surfers upon request.

Our goal is to give a unique outstanding experience, helping everyone to improve abilities and have a lot of fun.

Neptuno surfcenter begins with two friends and the idea to realize a new concept of surfcamps and sport vacations, comfort and health, connected to the surf soul.

Our team speaks Portuguese, English, Italian, French, Spanish, knows and loves the area around Peniche, the beaches, the surf tips and lot more. You will have a lot of fun with us, experience the various surf aspects and discover some local secret gem..

Our accomodations are bright, clean and extremely comfortable. Hotel rooms, wooden bungalows or studios, everything is made to let you feel like at home. 

PRIVATE ROOMS
Modern, cozy and well decorated, double, twins and triple rooms with satellite tv, free wi-fi, spacious private bathroom with hairdryer, central heating, safe and mini bar.

PRIVATE STUDIOS
Studios are the perfect choice for privacy and space, very nice and refined, they can accomodate up to 4 guests and are equipped with kitchen, tv, safe, air condition and a big bathroom with hairdryer. In the private garden outside, a table with chair is the perfect chillout spot.

WOOD BUNGALOWS
Comfortable and warm wooden bungalows are supplied with a kitchen, sofa bed, double bed room, bathroom with hairdryer, tv, safe and air condition. In the outside a table with chair is the perfect spot for dine, or relax drinking a beer.

Whatever your choice, a huge and various buffet breakfast is included in the accomodation price. The restaurant serves every morning a wide range of products, from the international to the portuguese home made classics. We try to use always fresh and seasonal fruits, cereals, dry fruits. Portuguese chese and chorizos, traditional cakes and more..

We all surfers know that when it comes to go rent a board, is never easy options, usually old yellowed thin boards. We want you surf like you are at home, or even better, so we have a wide range of boards from elite shapers like Al Merrick, Lost and others for you. Longboards and intermediate plastic board for surfers looking to improve their technique. Soft top surfboards for beginners.

Peniche area is blessed by waves any time of the year and due to its magical coast, there are conditions for surfing at any level almost any given day.

SURROUNDINGS / REGION

---

 Peniche is not a crazy sand barrels machine only,to the south of supertubos, in the village of Consolacao, a long righthand rocky point and a sandy left with a beginner friendly corner, create the perfect playground for our Surf Center. In the north of Peniche, a long scalloped bay gives to surfers plenty of possibilities in the various wind-waves combo swells, at the end to the bay another freak of nature, Baleal island. A small island connected to the mainland by a narrow sandy street, creates another handful of spot to keep the turists and surf community, well fed! Beach breaks, roky points, sand bars every spot can be epic on its days, but if there are no waves or no energies for surfing, this california style village can certainly entertain with bars and clubs.
