Summary

Our Outward Bound courses in Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua provide learning experiences that allow you to build leadership skills, intercultural competence and self-awareness. But the best part is the adventure of whitewater rafting, surfing, hiking, waterfall rappelling, scuba diving, and more this summer.

Our surfing courses take place during the Fall and Spring Semester, along with every summer. You will catch warm-water break son the world-renowned surf spots of Costa Rica, all while you work side by side with local communities on much-needed service projects, such as reforestation and school projects. Our surf spots include Avellanas, Dominical and the areas around Dominicalito. Receive instruction in small groups from our experienced instructors and earn your American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certifications. You can also chose another of our signature Summer Expedition and add one week of surfing to your summer.
