Peñascal Surf Hotel is located on the beach, in one of the top surfing beaches in Lima-Perú, in beautiful Peñascal Point, San Bartolo; on South Panamericana Highway (35 minutes of Lima).
San Bartolo has excellent weather during the whole year, with 10 km. of varing surf breaks to suit every ability.

While staying in San Bartolo, PSH will take you to other local surf breaks in the South Area: Punta Hermosa, Punta Rocas, La Isla, Señoritas, Caballeros, Pico Alto, Arica, plus Secret Spots you would have never found!
PSH also offers: Guided surf tours to Chicama (longest wave in the world) and Pacasmayo, Cabo Blanco, Organos, Máncora; Cerro Azul and San Gallán. Trips to the Magic Mountains (Macchu Picchu) and the Rain Forest.

Ideal waves for beginners. You can start any day you want!!! Only $ 35.= USD daily (All equipment include - special surfboards).

With our surfcourses we offer a refined and elaborated concept for a comfortable and safe start into surfing. Sensefully structured learning steps that build on each other, movement corrections guarantee lots of fun and fascination right from the start.

In our school, an experienced team of instructors awaits you as well as a large selection of first class surfmaterial for all levels. Beaches like San Bartolo, Puerto Viejo, y Cerro Azul are perfect to learn surfing.
You can book the courses with or without accommodation. We recommend 2 weeks surfcourse to reach optimum training success. You can start any day you want !

Cooking Lessons - Experience and learn how to cook the most important dishes of a culture that has more than 1000 years of legacy from mixing many techniques and ingredients from many parts of the world. Learn how to prepare the famous pisco sour and Chilcanos.
Taste the fruits of your labor at the end of your lesson. After all the hard work you have put into your Peruvian masterpieces, sit down and enjoy the cuisine in a relaxed and friendly environment. We will  prepare dishes such as Ceviche (the famous Peruvian fish dish), Aji de Gallina (rice with chicken in a garlic sauce) or arroz con pollo, Papa a la Huancaina,  Lomo Saltado, and desserts.
We will give you the tips , secreat and will teach  you how you cook  always talking spanish with a glass of bear or wine , by giving an authentic experience of Peruvian culture and lifestyle with a peruvian family.

City Tours - In the surroundings you can practice sports like surfing, scuba swimming, cycling, mountain bike, jogging. You can walk down to the village center and also a flight on ultra light plane can be arranged.

PACKAGE A - Surf Course - from 180 $ per Week / Person

The Beginners Course (6 days)
Learning objective: Standing on the surfboard.
Level required: none. With systematically progressing excercises we will introduce you in the basics of surfing.
3 - 4 practical hours are completed with theorical lessons about waves, weather, currents, tides, boards and surfing history. Get the stoke of surfing from the first day on!

The Improvers course (6 days)
Learning objective: To catch and ride unbroken waves (green waves).
Level required: "The beginners course" or equivalent skills.
3-4 practical hours a day, organized in sensefull exercises and learning steps, coaching in the water,  movement corrections and hints and tricks from professionals guarantee you will ride your first unbroken wave soon.

Price: US$ 180.00
Daily: US$ 35.00

This package includes: Surfequipment, special surfboards, wetsuit, leach, wax; stretch; theorical & practical lessons, spot transfer and spanish lessons.
