With our 1-2-1 photo-analysis feedback service you will be taught how to perfect manoeuvres and develop your techniques to create a better, stronger and slicker surfer.

The surf camp has everything you’ll need to feel right at home! Relax in the chill lounge, enjoy yoga with your mates or drink a beer on the 180degree ocean terrace. Close to the busy Taghazout, but quiet enough to escape it all, the surf camp offers a great location close to 6 surf spots, offering the most consistent swell in the area. More than just a surf holiday, with Surf Star you can experience the culture of Morocco too. Our surf camp is also close to Paradise Valley in the Atlas Mountains where you can see some of Morocco’s most stunning scenery and have really great days out. 

Surf Camp Riad accommodation in twin, double or shared room with private toilet/shower, includes tasty breakfast, 3 course evening meal, small Swimming pool, ocean view terrace, chill out, lounge, towels, bed sheets, blankets and a great team of staff 24hour hours a day. We have 23 single, double and shared rooms available with a gorgeous small swimming pool, bar and great atmosphere! After a day Surfing in Morocco, you can return to the Surf Camp, sit back and chill out! Enjoy your comfortable room overlooking the cool little pool with a private shower/toilet.  Opposite Surf Star’s Surf School and just a 5 min strole to crocros surf beach! Enjoy local surf lookout cafes and resturants, friendly relaxed villages and Berbere souks. At the Riad you can enjoy Yoga lessons on the terrace 6 days per week (book yoga in-advance). At the Surf Camp you can have a beer from the bar, play some pool or do some  If you need to catch up with the outside world, we have Wi-Fi and computers for you to use free of charge.

Beginner: 

Enjoy learning how to ride your first wave! Our instructors especially love to teach beginners and have the patience, commitment and experience to teach you well. We are a family friendly surf school, and do seperate surf lessons for kids too. Our surf coaches are trained by Surfing GB in surf instruction and lifesaving to ensure your safety.
Beginners learn to surf at safe un-crowded beach breaks with foam surf boards. Depending on your fitness level, beginners can aim to progress to intermediate level within 1 week. Here is an idea about what you’ll be learning.

Lesson 1 and 2 Aim:

to learn about the safety aspects of surfing to learn about the surf equipment to learn how to Body-board with the surf board to establish your balance to pop up and ride a white water wave Lesson 3 and 4 Aim: Learn how to accelerate and slow your surf board down Continue to improve your pop-up Lesson 5 and 6 Aim: Learning how to do a bottom turn Learn how to turn left and right on your surf board whilst riding a white wave

 

Some beginner surfers also learn to surf green unbroken waves within 1 week at Surf Star. Depending on the swell, this Surf Holiday may also include surf trips along Morocco’s incredible coastline of surf spots.


Intermediate:

Push the limits and take your surf skills to the next level with our Intermediate surf lessons in Morocco. Learn new skills and improve our surfing techniques.
Experience Morocco’s incredible coastline of surf spots as you learn new skills riding glassey green waves. With our qualified, patient and experienced surf instructors you’ll be in safe hands. Within 1 week intermediate surfers’ aim is to progress to a higher intermediate level using either a foam board or a hard board.

Yoga:
Experience a week of Surfing and Yoga in Morocco. Bringing Yoga and Surfing together creates a well-balanced, clear and healthy outlook to life – a perfect Yoga getaway! This is why Yoga at Surf Star Morocco is offered 6 days a week. Unlike other Surf Yoga Holidays; with us you can enjoy culture, good company and beautiful Moroccan sunsets. Whether you want to do as much yoga as possible, relax by the pool, or surfing till the sun goes down; at Surf Star there’s something for everyone! Our Surf Yoga sessions, aim to increase flexibility, core-strength, balance and focus. Whether you’re new to Yoga or have an established practice, Yoga sessions can greatly improve your surfing fitness as well as reducing muscular aches and pains.

Trips:
More than just Surfing in Morocco, this beautiful country is famous for its magical hidden gems. Paradise Valley in the Atlas Mountains is one of them, and some of our team are from this beatuiful Berbere area in the Atlas Mountains! For an indescribale Surf Holiday extra take this tour.

Surftrips:
The surf camp is already in a draw dropping location in South Morocco. Within a day you can reach an immense amount of surf spots. Yet on top of ALL this, at Surf Star Morocco we offer extra Surf Trips. This depends on the swell of the day as well as you. It’s your holiday and we want you to be totally stoked. In 1 hour’s drive along the coast and through mountains, you might see the famous and funny goats climbing trees! Imessouane is a renowned little surf and fishing village offering 2 fantastic surf spots; The Bay and Cathedrals. Fresh from the boat, on this surf trip you’ll also enjoy a mouth watering fish bbq. Another surf trip that we offer is the stunning surf at Tifnit. Here you can experience the Sahara Desert just like in the famous surf movie Sipping Jet Streams. We also have other surf trips we’ll keep secret for now!

Not far from the famous surf spots Anchor Point, Killer Point and Boilers, Tamraght is a Moroccan Berbere Surf village directly on the coast of South Morocco’s strip of surf spots and sandy beaches. 5 mins from Taghazout town, Tamraght offers a relaxed atmosphere with beach front cafes and friendly locals. In just a 5/10 minute walk from Surf Star’s Surf Camp you can surf over 3 surf spots. With glorious sunshine and an Endless coastline of Surf Spots Morocco offers fantastic waves for beginner to advanced level surfers.

Our Surf Camp is located in Tamraght and Taghazout, Agadir, South Morocco. Just 2-4hours from European locations we offer fantastic weather, rich culture and surf adventures! You will be located on the coast with the most for surf in Morocco with over 17 surf spots in walking/driving distance. And, if you are not surfing with us; there are loads of cultural amazing activities to do locally. Our Location is; 40min drive from Agadir Airport/bus station 10min walk from long sandy beaches, cafes and restaurants. 10min walk from surf spots crocodiles, devils rock and banana beach. 3min drive from Banana village where you’ll find local tourist friendly shops, restaurants, internet and a Wednesday souk market. 20-30mins drive/bus ride from Agadir where you’ll find nightlife, shops, restaurants, a port and a beautiful long beach. 30-40min drive from Paradise valley, the stunningly beautiful Berbere Mountains where you can experience secluded and friendly Berbere villages and natural beauty. Paradise! 2/3hour coach journey from Marrakech/Airport a buzzing market and tourist location. 2/3hour drive/coach from Essoaria a beautiful blue and white fishing town.

Ways to get to the camp

Morocco is surprisingly close to Europe and easy to get to. Flights to Agadir from London can be extremely inexpensive and take just 3hours. You can arrive at the surf camp with ease as airport transfers from Agadir take just 30/40mins. If arriving to Marrakech, cheap coach tickets can be purchased and the journey takes around 3.5hours.
