ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

LOCATION

Our Hostel is located directly on Las Canteras Beach. You can enjoy not only sea views but also the sound of the ocean in the entire house. You can find everything you might need just around the corner: surfspots, supermarkets, bars, restaurants etc.

The atmosphere and comfort of this place will make you enjoy the sea view even more.

Be sure, you will always find several options to rest, work or socialize, whenever you want. And most likely you will make friends with your roommates fast.

ACCOMMODATION

Due to the good climate concept of the surf house and the all year long comfortable weather around the Canary Islands, the rooms always have perfect sleeping conditions. You have access to the rooftop terrace, the downstairs lounge, our huge kitchen with a dining table for 6 people and the rooftop terrace, you will always find a place to rest, work or socialize. And most likely you will make friends with your roommates fast, like many well satisfied traveling people in La Ventana Azul before.

1 dorm room for up to 6 people, shared bathroom, from 16 € / person / night

Trinidad is our downstairs dorm room with six comfortable single beds. With solid wooden bunk beds and stylish curtains, Trinidad has become one of the most popular rooms in La Ventana Azul. Many long term guests and backpackers enjoy the low rates, while having access to all the comfort of the house.Around the well structured concept of the room, there is enough space for your personal belongings in the wardrobe and the additional security lockers in the hallway. This room shares the bathroom in the hallway, but only a few steps away from the door of your room. The whole room was restructured and renovated in 2014.

1 dorm room for up to 6 people, private bathroom, from 16 € / person / night

Boquines is our upstairs dorm room with six comfortable bunk beds. This dorm is the only room on the first floor of the house and on the same level as the famous roof top terrace.

When you get up in the morning, you just walk out from your room next door to a huge roof top terrace with sea view. On the terrace, you find a bar, a dining table, four different chill out areas as well as after surf showers. This room for 6 persons includes a seperated private bathroom, only used by the people in this room. Since the house is so close to the beach, you can hear the sound of the ocean, as soon as you open the windows. This room also has a big wooden wardrobe and dresser, for all your clothes. The whole room was reequipped and renovated in 2013.

2 dorms for up to 4 people, shared bathroom, from 18 € per / person / night

Dorm rooms are the most common type of hostel accommodation and in many hostels, they tend to be dark and overcrowded, but not at La Ventana Azul. Our dorm rooms are spacious with high ceilings and a window to the patio which guarantees fresh air whenever needed. In addition the rooms were fully renovated this year.

Since the house has a good ventilation concept and due to the mild climate conditions in Gran Canaria, these rooms always keep a very comfortable temperature during the day as well as in the night. It will neither be too hot, nor too cold, just perfect. The bathroom for these rooms is located in the hallway on the same floor, just 10 steps from your door.

1 dorm suite for 2-4, private bathroom, ocean view, from 20 € / person / night

This dorm suite room in the upper floor of our Gran Canaria Surf Hostel is perfect forcouples or a group up to 6 people. It is the only room on the second floor of the beach hostel and even one level higher than the rooftop terrace. “El Fronton” is our most comfortable room at La Ventana Azul and lets you enjoy the amazing seaview, while you can still take part in the lively and funny life at our Surfhouse & Hostel.

The huge windows of the suite room let you enjoy an amazing sea view. The dorm suite “El Fronton” also includes a big private bathroom with bathtub and exclusive access to the rooftop terrace after midnight. Waking up with the incredible sea view in front of the house will make you feel, like you never woke up from your dream.

Kitchen & Dining room (area)
Spacious, clean and comfy. The kitchen and the dining area are located in the center of the house.

The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, stove, fridge, cutlery, plates, all sorts of other necessary kitchen utensils…).

Longtime experience and continous, fast improvement of our teaching methodes will guarantize your success. Additional video analizing and personal coaching will help you tu have a maximum learning success with our Quicksilver Surf School in Las Palmas.
