Besser geht nicht Ich war eine Woche in Tamraght und es war super!
Ich kann wirklich jedem empfehlen mit westsurf morocco seinen Surfurlaub zu machen.
Auch neben dem surfen haben wir eigentlich die ganze Zeit mit den surfguides rumgehangen.
Und das ist wirklich nicht selbstverständlich!
'Betreute' Nebenaktivitäten mit Westsurf:
- sightseeing
- zusammen essen
- tee trinken
- abends abhängen
- einkaufen
- …
Pick-up und drop-off am Flughafen gabs auch noch.
Also ein wirklich nettes, freundschaftliches 'Rundumsorglospaket'!
Also wer Bock auf Surfen in Marokko hat und Massentourismus meiden will ist bei westsurf genau richtig!
Aufenthalt März 2014 Anders als in den anderen 'Riesensurfcamps' vor Ort waren wir 3 Schüler und ein Lehrer.
Der local surfguide war wirklich richtig nett und hat mir wirklich innerhalb von kürzester Zeit das Surfen beigebracht (soweit das in 6 tagen geht).
Vom ersten 'stand-up' bis zum richtigen 'take-off' eine wirklich kompetente, persönliche und auch geduldige Betreuung.Kommunikation ist super unproblematisch englisch, französisch und deutsch. Auch neben dem surfen haben wir eigentlich die ganze Zeit mit den surfguides rumgehangen.
Und das ist wirklich nicht selbstverständlich!

You will be lodged in a beautiful surf house and taken care of by the friendly staff, ensuring you have an unforgettable vacation. Many customers lived their first surf experience with us and were immediately hooked on it. Equal beginner or advanced surfer, we will safely get you to the next level. Thanks to our qualified and local surf instructors you will not only learn to surf but will also, together with them, get the chance to dive in to the true Moroccan surf culture.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
Our surf camp is located in Tamraght, a quiet Berber village 14 km north of Agadir and 3 km south of Taghazout. Ideally positioned up on the hill of Oufella, our roof terrace treats you with a spectacular view on to several popular surf spots and outback in to the countryside. For additional relaxation an Argan massage can be booked upon arrival.
CAMP CHARACTER
Our surf house accommodates double, triple and dorm rooms for a total of 18 guests. The rooms are generously spread over 4 floors allowing our guests a lot of space. Of course WIFI is available. In our communal lounge you will find satellite TV, a large range of DVD’s, great music and small library with novels, magazines and travel guides.

Enjoy with us world-class waves and dive in to the Moroccan surf culture. We will guide you to the best surf spots around Agadir and Taghazout. Equal beginner or advanced surfer, thanks to our small groups (max 6 persons) we can respond to you individually and teach you to surf the waves. Professional and well-experienced surf teachers will coach you with a unique learning technique acquired over many years. Thanks to their versatile language knowledge we can guarantee you a good communication for a successful surf lesson. High quality equipment is provided for you. So learn to surf and have fun with us.
For all advanced surfers wanting to discover Morocco’s waves on their own account. You may leave the hard work to us. We check the waves for you early morning and seek for the best surf condition. You will be picked up at 9 AM and get acquainted with Morocco’s secret surf spot. Over lunch you can strengthen yourself with a tasty lunch freshly prepared by us and continue to fully devote yourself to the waves. Lean back and enjoy Morocco’s best waves together with us.

You will find a large variety of top brand surfboards and wetsuits at Westsurf Morocco. Match up your surf equipment and get ready for the Moroccan waves. Surf equipment, packed lunch and transport to the best spots are included in the surf lessons.

SURF CONDITIONS
Breaks directly at the main spot and at nearby spots
In Morocco you can find all from beach breaks, reef breaks to point breaks along the coast. Devils Rock, Banana beach and Cro Cro are only walking distance from the surfcamp. To the South and to the North you can find one spot after spot. A paradise for all surfers.
Seasonal conditions
Morocco is an all year round destination for great surf and great weather. The biggest swell is over the winter. West Surf Morocco is open all year. The summer months (April - October) see small to medium swells with surf mostly on the beaches and reefs on the more exposed north west coast. This is a great time for anyone looking for fun, uncrowded warm water surf. There are some bigger days during this time for those looking for something more challenging.

The locals are usually friendly and the spots are not too crowded. It’s all about fun.

Characterization of surroundings/region
Our surf camp is located in Tamraght, a quiet Berber village 14 km north of Agadir and 3 km south of Taghazout.Situated between the first Atlas mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, you can find a very different kind of local products such as argane oil, honey and all sort of spices in the local souk. In Taghazout In Taghazout there are shops, cafes and restaurants. Less than 30mins from Agadir where you can enjoy the shops, hamman, bars, nightclubs and more.

JOURNEY
Ways to get to the camp
Agadir airport is only 40 min by car from our Camp. Airport transfers are included in our packages, if you have not booked either of these packages we arrange airport transfers for additional costs.
Marakech is only 3 h drive from Agadir, but it is easy to get from there to us. Take from the airport a petit taxi to the CTM or Supratours bus station and you can book a ticket for the next available bus for only 10 euro. The buses drive a few times per day.
