Sayulita is a small, authentic suffer village in the Central Pacific cost of Mexico. The village is very tourist friendly, but has still manage to keep its little Mexican twist. Sayulita has amazing long beach line and its' center is full of little stores and wonderful restaurants to taste the best fish tacos ever! Punta Mita is on the other side of the bay and its a place with multiple surf spots suitable for beginners and Intermediates. It takes 15-20 min to reach these breaks and these beaches are much more calm and natural like than the one in Sayulita. Many times the surf trips to these beaches are the highlights of our guests holiday.

In addition to Surf&Stay camps, we offer an option to participate 4 and 6 days long intensive Surf Camps, which don't include the accommodation. Depending on your level you can take a Beginners Camp or Intermediate Camp.  

BEGINNER CAMPS
4 Days Intensive Surf camp includes 2 surf lessons and 2 surf trips and 6 days Intensive Surf camp 2 surf lessons and 4 surf trips with our experienced surf instructors. Both packages includes also a surf board rental during the camp.   

INTERMEDIATE CAMP
4 Days intensive Intermediate Surf camp includes one surf lessons in Sayulita and 3 trips and 6 days Intensive Intermediate Surf camp includes one lesson in Sayulita and 5 surf trips with out experience surf instructors. Both packages also include a surf board rental during the camp.

Other activities

We offer also wide variety of other activities available to our guests. In addition to camps, we also offer surf lessons in Sayulita and Punta Mita area and surf trips to near by surf breaks. We offer other outdoor activities as well, you will have possibility to go stand up paddle boarding, kayaking,, mountain biking, hiking, snorkeling, horseback riding, fishing or participate on a trip amazing Marietas Island or Isla Coral with us. Accommodation

---

We offer 3 different accommodation options for our guests; Basic, Standard or Upgraded package. Accommodation is offered by our carefully chosen partners and all of them are situated near of the center and the beach. Here are the descriptions of each of them:  

Basic Package
Small Bungalows situated in a garden setting in a quaint yoga studio. Bungalows are clean, safe, and have private bathrooms. WIFI is also available. This is a great place to stay for single travelers.

Small bungalows located on beachfront compound just yards from the beautiful Sayulita beach. These bungalows are clean, safe and share a bathroom. There is also a great common area for guest to enjoy. This is a great location for the single traveler that does not want to be far from the ocean. Wi-Fi is also available.
 
Standard package
This is by far the nicest hotel in town with standard open air suites. These suites are furnished with an open air unique authentic design. Rooms with great views, awesome decor and quaint jungle ambiance; this hotel is definitely unique, The hotel also hosts an ocean front restaurant serving all meals. This room is single occupancy and is the perfect getaway for the single surf traveler who is treating themselves to a higher end personal getaway. If you are traveling with a couple you will be upgraded to and ocean view suite. 

Upgraded Package
Upgraded double occupancy with Ocean View in Deluxe Villa. This being the nicest hotel in town uses harmony with nature to create a magical tropical experience. These ocean front luxury suites with open air authentic feel are an excellent retreat from the everyday chaos. Rooms with great views, awesome decor and spacious terraces; the hotel is definitely unique, rooms with private splash pools are also available. This hotel also hosts an ocean front restaurant serving all meals. 
   
This is the place to stay for guests looking for a more luxurious holiday or couple wanting a romantic getaway.AC is not needed in any of the accommodations from November till May, the weather is not hot at night during these months.   Welcome dinner is included to our Surf&Stay packages (surf camp with accommodation) but other than that quests have to organize their meals by themselves. Some of the accommodation do offer kitchen facilities for the guests. Sayulita is full of excellent restaurant and taco places, which have delicious food in good price, so it might even be more tempting eat out. Our staff is also more than happy to give you advices and show you where to go to have lunch or dinner, or which is the best place to do the grocery shopping.

Surf&Stay camps are the surf camps with accommodation and they last for 7 days/6nights. Depending on you level, you can choose from beginner and intermediate camps.  

BEGINNERS CAMP  

Day 1:
Arrival
You will be met at the airport in beautiful Puerto Vallarta by our transportation service (optional) and will be taken to your accommodation in the village of Sayulita. The 45 minute scenic drive to Sayulita will drive through the roadside towns of Nuevo Vallarta and Bucerias. After driving through the beautiful jungle you will emerge at the entrance of our beautiful beachside village of Sayulita. You will spend the afternoon and evening getting acquainted with the cobblestone streets and open-air markets of this throw-back Mexican surfing village.Tonight during your welcome dinner at our water front restaurant you will enjoy a great ocean side meal to get ready for the next day’s adventures.      

Day 2:
Welcome to Surf Paradise
After you wake up in your “Surf-Chic” bungalow in paradise to the crisp ocean air and the sound of the waves in your nature friendly environment, we will meet up at our beach location at the first low tide of the day with your small group for our first scheduled surf lesson.Sayulita’s crescent bay and shallow sandy bottom make it ideal for catching your first waves on the long, consistent sand bottom beach break. After introductions and some land lessons in safety, surf etiquette, and basic techniques we’re ready to hit the water and catch our first waves. Wildmex’s expert instructors will teach you basic surf dynamics including wave selection, speed and pop - up technique. . Your surf instructors will be on hand to work with you individually and give great tips to improve your efficiency. By the end of today beginners will have caught their first wave and more advanced riders will have perfected fundamental skills.We will then break for lunch and a much needed rest. You should take this opportunity to hit the fresh fruit stand on the sand bar or grab a seaside burrito, you’ve certainly earned it. Take the rest of the afternoon at your own pace to improve on the skills that you have learned.  

Day 3:
Find Your Stroke
Your second day of surfing in Sayulita will build on the fundamentals we have already learned. Today your instructors will take you to the next level by teaching you how to select the best waves, pivot, and optimal paddling techniques to catch waves by yourself. Get ready to move to deeper water and catch breaking waves!The later part of the morning will be an open surf session to catch a few more waves and some “one-on-one” time with your instructors. Now you will have the confidence and skills to move onto the bigger waves and different breaks that lie ahead.  

Day 4:
La Lancha Trip
Today we will challenge your comfort zone by having you join our group to La Lancha, one of the most spectacular beaches in the area. Our group leader will guide you to an un-crowded surf spot with a fun beach break and a long point break. The longer waves at La Lancha provide great opportunities to work on riding posture and maybe even a turn or two!  

Day 5:
Punta De Burros Surf Trip
After the last couple of days of finding your beat with the ocean, today our experienced staff will guide you to one of the local surf breaks. Punta de Burros is known for its consistent surf with longer rolling point break waves. This trip is ideal to start getting into the dynamics of moving in a real surf break , Punta de Burros has various different breaks for different ability levels, our guides will make sure to match you with the one that is right for you and provide you with the appropriate session for the day.  

Day 6:
Surf Trip and Graduation Day!!!
Get all you can out of this last full day of surfing. Depending on the current swell and tide conditions, and our guests' surfing progress, our group leaders will choose one of the neighboring surf breaks for our morning surf trip.After a week of instructed surfing, you should be able to be catching some waves on your own and enjoying what real surfing is like. Instructors will be in the water helping and guiding guests through one more advanced coaching on reading waves, stance, generating speed, bottom turns, riding staying in the pocket, etc...  

Day 7:
Departure
If you just haven’t had enough, get your morning surf in before your airport shuttle to Puerto Vallarta Airport comes to take pick you up.  



INTERMEDIATE CAMP

Day 1:
Arrival

Day 2:
Setting a strong Base
Upon meeting at our beach location you will be introduced to your guide/instructor for the week. He/She will talk to you about your previous experience and surfing background, from here our staff will get you set up with the right boards for your size, ability level and current ocean conditions.Sayulita´s multiple surf breaks are ideal to have our base building session. Here we can either work on the beach break to check on guests paddling, pining and pop ups, or the point break to work on positioning, wave reading and etiquette.Surfing at Sayulita on day 1 is also really convenient since you will have full access to our 100+ surfboard quiver, meaning you can keep on switching boards through your session until you and your instructor find something that suits you.After checking our guests surfing, our instructors will point out any details and get them ready for the surfing days ahead.Guests are welcome to use the boards throughout the rest of the day and even overnight if desired.  

Day 3:
Starting the Surfari
With over 10 surf breaks within a 30 min drive in the area, the wave selection is incredible. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff will take you on one of our AC surf equipped vehicles out to surf breaks adequate for your surfing ability.Our experienced staff knows the area and conditions and will take you to the best place depending on the current swell, tide and wind conditions while doing our best to avoid crowds. Our staff will point our any hazards in the surf break and give you useful hints on the break before you get in the water.During your session you will be able to ride plenty of waves and get advice from our experienced guides/instructors on your wave selection, wave reading, paddling, turning, wave positioning, etc...Depending on the time of year and ocean conditions, our Surf Trips either happen in the morning or the afternoon (or both) , leaving the other half of the day available for guests to practice on their own at Sayulita´s main break (board rental outside trip hours is included in our package).  

Day 4 to 6:
The real surfing experience
From day 4 to 6 guests go on 3 of our popular surf trips. These trips to secluded surf breaks in the area are often most of our guests trip highlight. Our surf trips will let you experience real surfing on a beautiful setting.Instruction these last days will be taken to the next level, by teaching guests the dynamics of moving around on a point break. Guests will have a chance to catch clean long waves by themselves and experience long and smooth rides in some of the many areas point breaks.   Day 7: Departure If you just haven’t had enough, get your morning surf in before your airport shuttle to Puerto Vallarta Airport comes to take pick you up.

Waves at the spot

In Sayulita and Punta Mita area you can find waves all year round. The first lessons in Sayulita are arrange according the tide (which vary daily) and this way we can guarantee the best possible conditions for surfing. Destination for the surf trips is also decided according the conditions which are most suitable for the quests in question.Sayulita's main point can get really busy during the bank holidays in States and in Mexico, but if instructors feel there is too many people in the water for the lesson, the lesson can be moved to other location. The waves in Sayulita and Punta Mita area are perfect to beginner and intermediate surfers. We get some bigger ones once in a while, when there is chance for advance surfers to challenge their skills as well.

We offer airport transfer services to our guests from PV international Airport into Sayulita and Back

Sayulita is approximately 28 miles north of Puerto Vallarta and takes 40 minutes to 1 hour , depending on traffic, to drive there.
