The area is surrounded with unique nature, distinct to this particular portuguese coastline, and boasts some of the best beaches and surf spots in the world! Where else could be better to start your surfing journey than the home of many international surfing championships, such as the Rip Curl Pro Portugal?

CAMP CHARACTER

Our surf school team consists of coaches and instructors that are certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and the International Surfing Association, with extensive experience in teaching children and young people in particular. Not only will we provide you with expert tuition in surfing and paddle surfing, we also have excellent accommodation facilities available at our own surf camp in Vale da Telha, which is conveniently located for access to the stunning surf beaches of Arrifana and Amoreira. Even better than that, it boasts its own sauna for relaxation after a day of fun in the sun!

ACCOMMODATION TYPES

The Aljezurwestcoastsurf camp is situated in Vale da Telha, Aljezur, close to local bars and restaurants; but most importantly we are located within close proximity to the stunning natural surfing beaches of Arrifana and Amoreira.

Our modern accommodation is within a large villa providing comfortable sleeping areas for up to 16 people. The Villa boasts a large communal living/dining area for socialising and sharing surf experiences, fully equipped kitchen, private showers, and unique to us - A SAUNA! 

At night you can chill out in the outdoor BBQ area, gazing up to the stars and reeling in your days success on the surf!

At Aljezurwestcoastsurf we pride ourselves in offering flexible, tailor-made, and most importanty FUN surfing lessons for all ages and abilities. Led by Hugo Nanitas and his team, who are International Surfing Association (ISA) and Portuguese Surfing Federation (PSF) certified teachers, you will discover the joys of surfing in the unique waters of the Alentajo coastline, offering an abundance of waves to catch for every surfing ability. 

The Aljezurwestcoastsurf school is a great choice for both beginners, who require close tuition in the water, and those who are more experienced, looking to refine or evolve their technical abilities. 

Our surf lessons, like the freedom of a wave, allow for you to choose, where, when and how long you engage in this thrilling activity with us, providing you with the freedom to taylor-make your very own surfing lesson. No rigid classroom tuition; it's just not the surfing way! 

Our surfing lessons are priced inclusively for everything you will need, including:

-Expert tuition from our ISA PSF certified teachers
-surf board rental
-Wet suit rental
-Full accident insurance protection 

For parties larger than 8, you will be assigned 1 teacher per 8 people.

SURF MATERIALS

You will also find that we are fully equipped with all the surfing equipment you could require for a good days surf, so no need to transport surf boards and wet suits. Of course, we understand some of you will have a close connection to your board, so feel free to bring it along if you wish. If you are staying with us at our surf camp, you will be able to securely store all of your surf gear.
