ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

Amayour is the closest camp to Panorama beach, within a couple of minutes walk to the famous beach break of Taghazout bay
Also within easy reach of local spots such as Panorama Point Hash Point & world famous Anchor Point. Our camp take the best waves for the day for your group and we are lucky yo be located with easy reach of up to 30 world-class surf spots. 
Amayour is also best located for the cafe culture and the small village life of Taghazout, Feel easy to explore the village and find your niche.

Amayour is a boutique surf camp that hosts 17 people for a relaxed surf and yoga holiday.
Join as a guest and leave as a family friend. With our relaxed but professional team, you are in the right hands .

Shiraz and Mhand started Amayour in 2015 and we built Amayour from the ground up.
With Shiraz from London and M'hand from Tamri together we have worked hard on creating the perfect surf camp for you to enjoy. 

With our dedicated team of instructors including 2 ISA trained surf coaches & qualified yoga teachers. and housekeeping staff, we can assure you are in the right place, 

We also opened up our surf boutique shop where you can collect or rent your boards.

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

We have a choice of non-smoking rooms from comfy quad rooms to stylish private doubles with either the town beach or garden views. With house towels and all linen and winter duvets provided 
Lockers are provided - please bring a small padlock or we have some for sale.

Amayour is located next to Panorama beach with a stunning rooftop terrace with views across Taghazout bay.
With high-speed wifi, guest kitchen access, beautifully cleaned and stylish bathrooms on each level you can be sure the only thing you have to worry about it getting your wetsuit dry for the morning!

Just add an extra for Sundays as our kitchen is closed in the evenings and days you are not taking a surf lesson 

We cater for vegan, lactose-free, halal & other allergies - please contact us at booking with your dietary requirements.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

Daily surf lessons start at 10 am.
post-yoga &  post breakfast, we pack the car (if our local break is not working)
with a 2-hour lesson and break for lunch and afternoon session before getting back to the camp for some well-earned downtime.
With our 2 ISA coaches, we have lessons with groups of up to 8 per teacher splitting the levels.
From Complete beginners to intermediate we will get your riding those green waves.

Just add your swimsuits,  we have all that you will need for your surf and yoga holiday

We have daily morning yoga on our sunrise terrace yoga mats included in the lesson price or can be rented.
Rent our boards from our boutique surf shop and grab some bargains whilst you are at it.

Explore Taghazout with camel & horse rides, quad bikes take our secret paradise valley trip.

We surf every day weather permitting, taking you to the surf spot is included as a session, we will take you to the spot that fits your level - If it is unsurfable we are not able to refund

We will not refund or exchange lessons due to incremental weather or sickness.

Lessons are non- transferable from one guest to another

The nearest airport to Taghazout is Agadir International ( AGA) 50 min taxi ride 300 DH /€30.

Essaouira Airport is €80 2.5 hours away.

Or from Agadir bus station for €15.

Our driver can pick you up from Agadir Airport or Essaouira Airport and bring you to our door.

We are situated behind the square where you arrive from the bus or taxi. If you book a transfer and do not take it, it will be charged on your bill.

During the winter season, it is warm in the day and cold at night.  This is an outside lifestyle.

Bring something warm for the evenings on the terraces.

Morocco is a liberal Muslim country. Both men and women are fine to wear shorts and t-shirts. Beach wear, as with most beach resorts in Europe, is for the beach.  It’s advisable to cover up a little whilst walking through town.  

We can provide a laundry service for you. 

Shower towels are provided free of charge, we have a limited supply of beach towels.

Taghazout is a dry town but we supply beers and wine .

At Amayour Surf & Yoga we can cater to most dietary requirements with advanced notice. Please let us know at the time of booking. Due to the nature of our kitchen we cannot cater to extreme celiac disease.

All our fish is freshly caught and our meat is halal.

No vaccinations are required for  Morocco and anti-malarial precautions are not necessary.

In case of an emergency, there are hospitals and clinics in Agadir.

Medical charges will apply according to treatment received so make sure you have travel insurance before you arrive.

There is a well stocked pharmacy in Taghazout  which is open everyday with a qualified and knowledgeable pharmacist.

Amayour Surf & Yoga is not responsible for injuries in or out of the hostel.

It may be advisable to take probiotics before you visit Morocco.

You must have travel insurance and are responsible for this.

Taghazout is used to tourists and aggression to tourists is not taken lightly.
