Arrifana Surf School & camp, offers you a truly stunning Surf Experience in the southwest coast of Portugal. Our beaches are an excellent example of balance between human settlement and the natural environment. Besides the sun and the wonderful food, you’re going to find one of the best surf coastlines in Portugal, situated in the preserved area of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park.
The Arrifana Beach(one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal) is concessioned to our Surf School, during the summer season, and is officially accredited and certified by the local authorities. It’s just 5 mins walk to our Surf House.
Arrifana Surf School & Camp can provide everything you need for your perfect surf vacation… Such as surf equipment, excellent teachers and amazing surf conditions to improve and develop your surf skills. Furthermore, you’ll find that our great lodging has a team whose aim is to provide you with everything you might need!!! Our Surf School offers surf lessons for all levels, from beginners to advanced. Our highly qualified and certified surf teachers will show you how to surf, with a fast method and in a safe learning environment.

All this is done without any cars to or from the beach! This is one of the best surf spots in the area, mostly due to its position, grating it a good shelter from the wind, which makes it very popular amongst surfers.
The consistent swell at Arrifana Beach is great for beginners, but also has a lot to offer for the intermediate or the more advanced surfer. There are also some reef breaks a few minutes away.

The Surf House has 5 bedrooms(1 suite, 3 double rooms and 1 shared room), some with a brilliant ocean view, 3 bath rooms and a living room with Tv, DVD, Wi-Fi, Movies, Music, etc… The use for the kitchen’s schedule, in the summer season, is from 18h to 22h30.?Outside the Surf House, you’ll find chill out areas and balconies where you can enjoy the scenary all around.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES
SURF COURSE DETAILS
Our school works independently from the surf camp, as we have our own teachers. The school is located at the Arrifana beach and runs from March to October. You can come and attend our surf classes/courses for 1, 2, 3 or more days.
We also offer classes in the winter, but always depending on the sea conditions!!!
We offer surf classes/courses for 3 different levels (level I-Beginners, II-Intermediate, III-Advanced), according to your experience! The lessons last 3 hours each day, divided into two sessions(1h 30mins each). Each lesson consists of a maximum of 8 people per instructor. The complete equipment(surfboard, wetsuits and rushguards) is provided before the class starts. The surf classes take place at Arrifana Beach but we can also take you to different spots in the surrounding area.
As our Surf School is right on the beach front, you have the advantage to choose when you want to catch some waves, or just relax in the sand… The surf material is provided whenever you want it! You will have a great time whether you are surfing, meeting new people, watching the amazing sunset at the beach – with a glass(of wine, juice, beer or sangria, etc.) in your hand – or just hanging out around in the local region. We want you to spend the most amazing surf vacation of your life with people from all over the world!!!
