Sunset & Sunrise yoga sessions take place daily on our rooftop terrace, with views of the Moroccan coastline. Our yoga sessions provide a mix of classic Hatha Vinyasa flow, pranayama breathing and the all-important poses to help transition you into the day's activity - surfing! Whether a first time yogi or someone with a strong and frequent yoga practice, our surf yoga retreats are designed to both challenge and strengthen your body.
Meals are freshly prepared daily with locally sourced ingredients, offering a range of traditional and delicious dishes, keeping you fuelled and energised for your surf sessions.

We cater to individuals, couples, families, friends, or large retreat groups-- so join us in our new home Villa Azhar and learn to surf from our highly qualified instructors.
| Originally from the North of Morocco, Morad grew up surfing the local spots in his hometown of Mehdia. After several years working there as a beach lifeguard and surf instructor, he came to Tamraght to work at a local surf school and never left. Sophie first came to Morocco in 2010, to surf and experience the area of Taghazout and it's world famous surf. After a week's stay, she was destined to return and did so over the coming years. She left Wales in 2012 to live in the South of France, but her itchy feet and memories of Morocco eventually lead her back, with no plan - just a one way ticket. |

Using only fresh, seasonal and locally-sourced produce, our meals are packed full of flavour, colour and healthy goodness! All meals are prepared by our in-house chef, Fatima, with a variety of dishes and flavours to savour every day of your holiday.

All equipment will be provided and boards will be determined by skill level. We also have equipment for rental if not used during the course or camp.
Our surf & yoga sessions run 6 days a week, except Mondays, giving you a free day to spend as you like, with plenty of options for you to explore the local area, hire a board and wetsuit for the day to head out for more surfing, or simply relax.
We also help organise trips to Paradise Valley, and traditional Hammam and Massage treatments for you to enjoy and experience on your free day.
There are over 20 different surf spots in the area. Rights, lefts, reef breaks, sand breaks, big waves, small waves, the list just keeps on going. Tamraght is the perfect place to learn to surf, practice your skill, or shred the giants with the guided experience of locals.
Seasonal conditions
It is sunny and warm year round in Morocco with good waves and beautiful beaches. However, the high season is winter time.
Crowd factor and local people
Tamraght is a small surf village just north of Agadir. Most people living amongst the village are involved in the yoga and surf lifestyle. The locals not only love to share the waves but also their stoke as well.

Located 14km from the city of Agadir and just next to the better known surf hub and fishing village of Taghazout, Tamraght offers a tranquil place to relax and unwind. Location is prime - just a short taxi ride to the hustle and bustle of Agadir city, good connections to Agadir airport and national bus services, and - most importantly - access to over 20 surf spots, suitable for all levels of surfer.
