ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

All the famous spots are nearby. Blue Mind Surf & Yoga Tribe will always bring you to the best uncrowded waves of the day according to your lovel. There are many great spots for beginners nearby but also more advanced spots like the famous Anchor Point. Homespot is the surf school at Aourir Beach (km 12). Head Coach is Founder of Banana Surf Morocco and Blue Mind Surf & Yoga Tribe Khalid Tissali. Khalid knows the area like his pocket and will show you all his highlights and secret spots. 

Blue Mind Surf & Yoga Tribe is a surfcamp for all ages, individual travelers as well as families or groups of friends. Spoken languages are English, French, German, Berber and Arabic. Main language is English but there is always some translation available. 

Khalid started surfing at the age of 7. Sharing his passion for surfing and his love for the ocean has always been a priority in his life. With only one board and a few hundred Euros in his pocket he started Banana Surf Morocco in his early twenties. With love and passion he builded his dream together with his wife Sandra. Sandra is a well known yoga teacher and yoga teacher trainer from Germany. Together they created Blue Mind Surf & Yoga Tribe – a surf & yoga boutique hotel which is not only well-known for great surf and yoga lessons but also choosen from surfers from all over the world as their surfing home away from home because of the good vibes and the family sharing which is shared by all the team and guests.   

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

There are 11 rooms in 3 categories – all rooms have private bathrooms integrated. All rooms are non-smoking.
Endless Ocean Rooms which are double rooms with double beds. They offer ocean view with a private balcony. There is one Endless Ocean Family Room which has space for 3-4 people with one double bed and two single beds.
Sunset Chill Rooms which are double rooms with double beds or two twin beds. Some are offering ocean view, others are having village view and side-ocean view and therefore a private balcony.
Fresh Wave Rooms which are double rooms with twin beds. They are offering village or patio view.

All surf packages include fullboard meals with breakfast and dinner buffet and lunch as picnic on the beach in between surf sessions. On the menue is fresh fish and meat as well as vegetarian options. Organic products as well as seasonal fruits and vegetables are used as much as possible and a lot of effort is put in the selection of the dishes to make sure that everyone gets enough proteins and vitamins, healthy fats and carbs for a lot of energy in the water. Please communicate special menue requirements at least 7 days before arrival so that the kitchen can take care of it. 

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

We surf in small groups of around 4 surfers with one teacher to make sure that you will have the best experience and most progress during your stay. 

Rental of board and wetsuit is included in the package. 

There are daily sunrise and sunset yoga classes for all levels which are included in the package. 

MORE INFO, HOW TO GET THERE & FAQ

Best surf conditions for advanced surfers are the winter months from September till April. There are many spots nearby which are accessible for beginners all year. It is most comfortable to surf with wetsuit all year. The rental of the wetsuits is also included in the package.

Blue Mind Surf & Yoga Tribe is located in Tamraght an aspiring surfer village with a lot of cosy cafes and surf shops. Tamraght is just next to Taghazout which is already well-known along surfers and yogis worldwide. Being still a bit more traditional, the village Tamragth is the new place to be while it is less crowded than Taghazout. The beautiful surf & yoga home is located in the upper part of the village and has therefore a great 180° panoramic view along the coast and its surfspots – from km 11 till Taghazout.

Activities and facilities
You can book some trips with the surf camp: Agadir Souk market, Paradise Valley or day trip to Essaouira or discover the area on your own. 

Ways to get to the camp
Closest airport is Agadir airport. The transport from Agadir bus stop or Agadir airport is included in all packages. It is possible to fly to Marrakech and to take a public bus to Agadir easily where the surf camp will pick you up.
