Surfing in Equator is a very unique experience and Montañita the place to be for those who want to fully enjoy what the Pacific Ocean has to offer. Our team of local ISA certified and Aquatic First Aid & Rescue trained instructors will share with you their ocean knowledge. You will learn the currents and how waves form but most of all you will leran to love and respect the ocean while understanding surf's true culture, its history and its etiquette... our methods of training will soon allow you to surf independently and reach an intermediate level in order for you to be able to surf in any other beach in the world.

The instructors are local surfers from Montañita trained to be able to manage all types of currents and sea conditions. They are patient, flexible, responsible, as well as humble, and have the best certification with an ISA Local and International Certification.

The surf instructors have more than ten years of experience in surf lessons and surf tours and are all professional surfers in national and international competitions. Brothers Of The Wave Surf School will offer you the best service possible to enjoy the waves of Montañita. The classes are 100% guaranteed.

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

HOSTAL: You will stay for seven days and six nights in a nice hostel located in a safe area near the beach and places of tourist interest. The accommodation will be in private and comfortable rooms to rest after a day of surfing.

CASA SURF: You will be accommodated in peaceful and quiet mini suites in our surf house, nestled in a natural & cozy area. All accommodations provide access to our kitchen, hammocks, TV & Wifi connexion.
Located aproximately 10 minutes walking distance away from the center and the beach of Montañita, our surf house provides a peacefull & calm atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a great day of surfing (our surf house is not a hotel, you’ll find tranquility and your needed privacy).

Our friendly local staff will answer all your specific request and question regarding the place to go in Montanita and its surroundings. The room : Double Bed / TV / fan / private bathroom & hot water / kitchen & equipment / mini fridge

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

You will be accommodated during 7 nights in our surf house or hostal.
Our private surf classes last between 1,5 hour & 2 hours, including 30 minute theory on the beach. This program is designed for beginners (Level 1) and the objective of the course is to achieve Level 2 (Intermediate).

The aim of this program is that students will gain a sense of how to catch the wave, technique, and precise moment to take off as well as to enjoy surfing. Beginners will be surfing at an intermediate level and will be able to catch waves. The goal is that beginners are able to start catching waves and can take off without the help of an instructor. Classes will take place on Montanita Beach and will start depending on the tides and weather conditions. Please note that all the surf classes in this program are private.
