Summary
Miraflores opened in March 2007 operated by Epic Surfing Adventures. It is one of the few hotels at Playa las Flores with the purpose of offering quality and affordable accommodations at one of the nicest coastal regions of El Salvador.
Epic Surfing Adventures has been running (surf) tours for more than 5 year now, became over these years el Salvador's leading surf tour operator. Epic organizes (surf) tours at the west and east coast of El Salvador.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
San Salvador
Follow the signs to La Libertad. At El Puerto de La Libertad turn left (east) at the T crossing in direction of the airport. After the Airport follow the signs of 'Playas Oriente/ Zacatecoluca' After Zacatecoluca follow signs to 'Usulutan' and cross this town, 30 min after you will reach a roundabout called 'El Delirio' with the sign 'El Cuco' to the right. Following the road for 10 min till you turn to the right where sign says 'Chirilagua / El Cuco'. Than follow the road till you enter the town of El Cuco, take the turn to the right, 500 mts up the hill you will find Miraflores.

After Metro centro follow the signs to 'El Cuco'. After aprox. 25 min you will find the roundabout called 'El Delirio' go straight to El Cuco. Following the road for 10 min till you turn to the right where sign says 'Chirilagua / El Cuco'. Than follow the road till you enter the town of El Cuco, take the turn to the right, 500 mts up the hill you will find Miraflores.
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING
ACCOMMODATION TYPES
Hotel Miraflores has six rooms with all the amenities and comfort to make your vacation very relaxed.
All six rooms have private bathrooms and are equipped with air conditioning and cable TV.
Four of our guestrooms are accommodated with 2 queen sized beds, up to a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children.
One double room has two 1.20 beds. Maximum of 2 persons.
Our triple room has 2 queen sized beds, one 1.20 bed and futon. This room can accommodate up to 3 adults and 2 children.
There is a bunk bed available to change instead of a double size bed. Please let us know when you would like to have a bunk bed instead.
CATERING
Hotel Miraflores offers a variety of great dishes, local recipes combined with international flavours. All made with fresh ingredients bought of the local community around the hotel. Fresh seafood, meat, fruits and vegetables; if you have any special wishing please ask our staff! Your plates will be served up in the restaurant with a great 360 degrees view to the beaches of Las Flores, El Cuco and to the tropical landscape around the hotel.
SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES
SURF COURSE DETAILS
In front of Hotel Miraflores you will find one of the best waves of the country, Las Flores point break and just a 25 min boat ride will take you to Punta Mango, a hollow point break in the middle of nowhere. You can rent boards at the Hotel.
Las Flores beach is excellent for beginners to learn to surf. The beach is long and sandy. The waves at the inside are not that powerful. Best at high tide. Our experienced bilingual surf instructors will help you to ride your first waves.
SURF MATERIALS
Board rental : half day $12.00, 1 day $20.00 and all the week $100; A credit card deposit is required.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Fishing trip
We offer fishing trips by boat. We will be trolling along the coast looking for tuna, dorado, red snappers and many other fish on the rich salvadoran waters. We have fishing rods for rent.
Golfo de Fonseca
Visit the gulf that El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua share together with stunning volcanic islands, small fishing villages and black-sand beaches. We go to Isla Meanguera, the most important one.
Alegria
Alegria is one of the most picturesque towns of El Salvador and famous for its flowers. There is a lake nearby which its waters are said to be medicinal. Do not miss the beautiful view from Mirador de los Cien Grados.
Conchagüa
Only 6 Km away from the City of La Unión, at the foot of the Volcano with the same name you will find a quiet and small town with one of the very few Colonial Structures still standing after the earthquakes of this part of the country. Visit the Colonial Church of Santiago Apóstol with more than 300 years. Conchagüa is also famous for its pupusas.
Lagunas de San Miguel
Laguna el Jocotal is the largest bird sanctuary in El Salvador, hosting 214 species of birds. We visit the Laguna in canoe or boat.
Perquin
Perquin was the headquarters of the FMLN during the El Salvador's civil war and has an excellent museum of this war. The 'Rio Sapo' goes nearby and is the cleanest river in the country and a protected natural area. Great to swim in and hike around a beautiful landscape!
