ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

Beginner1:

Capabilities: Catch waves in a supervised environment, surfing in easy conditions. Understand basic hazard awareness and basic safety aspects.

Skills: Catch waves to the left and to the right side with the correct posture.

Beginner2:

Capabilities: Catch waves in a non-supervised environment, surfing in easy to medium difficulty conditions. Apply safety measures during the surf session. Have basic knowledge of surf rules and etiquette.

Skills: To cut the wall of the wave to the left and to the right side.

Intermediate1:

Capabilities: Catch waves in a non-supervised environment, surfing in medium difficulty conditions. Can execute maneuvers. Masters safety concepts during the surf session. Have total knowledge of surf rules and etiquette and apply then everytime.

Skills: Can execute maneuvers asked by the instructor.

Intermediate2:

Capabilities: Consistently applies fluidity, power and diversity concepts. Surfing in medium to high difficulty conditions. 

Skills: Can execute the maneuvers requested by the instructor in the maximum of attempts of 3 waves.

Advanced1:

Capabilities: Consistently apply the concepts of Flow, Power and Diversity.Surfing in high difficulty conditions.

Skills: Can execute progressive maneuvers to the left and to the right side.

Advanced2:

Capabilities: Feeling comfortable in high difficulty conditions, frequently applies fluidity, power and diversity concepts. Acts in an exemplary manner according to rules, etiquette and posture in the water at all times.

Skills: Progressive solid maneuvers to the left and right side. Having been on a surf trip with high quality waves.

Travel experience in high quality waves.

Advanced3: 

Capabilities: Feeling comfortable in extreme difficulty conditions and in rock bottom waves. Have applied and proven fluidity, power and diversity concepts. Acts in an exemplary manner according to rules, etiquette and posture in the water at all times.

Skills: Variety of progressive solid maneuvers to the left and right side. High quality surfing in good waves.

CAMP CHARACTER

Our school is our people. Period. Our team is build by our own athletes, friends, and surfers/bodyboarders, who not only have a lot of experience as they are also graduated in sports.

CAMP OPERATOR

We are surfers, we are graduated in sports and we even have a former world bodyboard champion (twice!) in our team... But what we are really proud of is the friendship and good vibes that unites us. This is our most distinguishing feature. That's why you are going to walk out of the ocean wearing a smile on your face!

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

You will be staying in our partner hostel, located right in the city centre where you can enjoy what Porto's vibrant nightlife, great restaurants and bars, and amazing sightseeing. Transfers to and from the surf school are included.
Alternatively you can stay in our studio apartments with a short group of friends or as a couple.

All packages include breakfast. We also have a self-catered kitchen.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

Based on our knowledge, surf/bodyboard concept understanding and sports education, we know that a good surf or bodyboard athlete, needs to achieve the perfect balance amongst these 3 areas. We developed an extended group of exercises for our team that will allow you to increase your strengths and improve your weaknesses.
