The resort and the surfing beach is located in west bali which is about 2 and half hour drive from the International Ngurah Rai Airport.

Medewi Bay Retreat is located 300mtrs from Pekutatan Beach in a small coastal village on the West Coast of Bali. The resorts unique location gives guests a rare insight into true village life. The small village of Yeh Kuning in Pekutatan is approx 1,5 - 2 hours from Seminyak along the Denpasar / Gilimanuk road, the main road from Bali to Java. Medewi Bay Retreat is an hour’s drive from West Bali National Park and Ngurah Rai Airport is a 1,5 - 2 hour drive away.

Each Studio Room has a private balcony/terrace with garden or pool views.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

The surfing that we offer is for professional or experienced surfer who looking at a try for a new surfing experience in other part of Bali.

Guest can bring their own surfing board or can also rent at the surfing location at IDR 80,000 per board.

Characterization of surroundings/region
The resort provides a unique escape for those wishing to unwind, unplug and relax. The surrounding village is quiet and traditional.

Activities and facilities
Take the time to stroll, cycle or bike through neighboring villages and experience the warm smiles and cheery greetings from the locals. Depending on the time of year, you can enjoy traditional bull racing in Negara, every Sunday morning between April and October or you can catch a wave at Medewi’s famous surf beach just a few kilometers away.

There are many opportunities for local touring, such as trekking in nearby hills, scuba diving at Bali’s North, visits to the main fishing port of Negara.
