Summary
Miramar Surf Camp is one of the most treasured surf locations in Nicaragua.
Located in the North, in a sleepy fishing village, this surf hot spot offers more than just perfect waves. It is graced with opportunity for plenty of recreational activities and a calming, peaceful atmosphere. Blessed with offshore winds, rich with points and beach breaks, it provides sets for all levels of surfers, all year round.
During the high surf season, from March to November, peaking swells allow for experienced surfers to share the perfect barrel, easily accessed on foot or by boat. It is also an ideal place for those wishing to learn with the peak of a gentle wave at your doorstep. This majestic paradise, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, is home to all different kinds of adventures.
Also we try to be more and more self sustainable everyday. We grow many different herbs, fruits and vegetables. We have water filter systems to reuse dirty water for other areas of the camp (dont worry not to drink) And a huge plus is we have solar power. Every time the village electricity goes out we are the only ones that are able to enjoy our dinner with lights.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
We are locate ocean front at Playa Miramar 90 min north of Managua airpot, at our area we are blessed by the diversity of waves for all levels and the whole year around. Staying with us you can surf 9 surf breaks and 5 are access by short walk from the hotel 5 min at most. The other breaks can be access aboard of our surf boat.This is a premium area with point breaks, river months, beach breaks, bay wave for beginners, for sure you will find yours. The closest town is Leon which is a historic city with surround by volcanoes and history. Has has pristine church, museums, bars and restaurants, if any day you are planing to go out in leon you can get some really nice salsa dance clubs it's so much fun.

The camp is suitable for all travellers, single, couples, groups, families. Definitely Miramar is not a party Hotel but here you will get the right fun, in case you like to party.

Miramar Surf Camp offer full on hotel services, overviewing the Pacific Ocean locate in small fishing village we provide a big diversity of services, to make your stay most convenient as possible - room types: Ocean view rooms with private bathroom or Non-Ocean view rooms with shared bathroom they can accommodate up to 3 people max they area al equipped with AC.
CATERING
Full restaurant and bar service from 7am-8pm our kitchen and bar will be open. We kook a new menu everyday respecting the seasonality from our Ocean and garden, we try to keep shopping local as much as possible working with the locals buying whatever the catch or raise here, we buy locally our sea food, pork, chicken,we grow must of the herbs use by the kitchen, vegetarian are welcome at any time. The cuisine in Miramar is definitely one of the highlights.
SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES
SURF COURSE DETAILS
We provide surf lessons at the camp we have a special training area for beginners with balance boards and circuit for the warm up. The surf lesson are 90 minutes average and can be private er groups depending on your request.
SURF MATERIALS
Soft boards, epoxi or fiber glass you can find all type of boards here. Our quiver is big and we have so many boards starting on 5'2 to 9'0.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
We offer daily yoga classes, massage, boat trips, horse back riding, volcano tours, tide polls city tours... We guarantee you wont get bored taying with us, after a surf session you can pick you favourite extra activity, just let our staff know about it what you want and we will take care for you.

Ways to get to the camp
We provide airport pick up and we are able to send a taxi on your way anywhere in Nicaragua. You can also get here by public transportation, is not very easy to get information about it, but its safe and cheap, we can also help with some tips in case you want to do this way.
