Moana Surf Maroc is located in Tamraght, a peaceful village just north of Taghazout, right along the stunning Moroccan coastline. The camp is nestled in a beautiful landscape with sandy beaches, rocky cliffs, and small patches of forest, offering both relaxation and natural beauty.

The camp is directly at the beach, with several surf spots within walking distance:

Panorama Beach: 5 min walk – beginner-friendly beach break

Hash Point: 10 min walk – suitable for intermediate surfers

Anchor Point: 15 min drive – world-famous point break for advanced surfers

Surf conditions at the camp are generally consistent, with mild Atlantic swells, warm water, and excellent waves for all levels. Nearby spots provide variety depending on wind and swell direction, ensuring you always have a great surf session.

Moana Surf Maroc welcomes adults of all ages, with a focus on both relaxed and active holidays. The camp has a family-like atmosphere with around 20–30 guests at a time, making it cozy but social.

Moana Surf Maroc was founded in 2022 by Nasr Eddine Ousbai, a passionate surfer and yoga enthusiast with years of experience in Moroccan surf culture.

Our team consists of local surf instructors, yoga teachers, and friendly staff who ensure every guest has a safe, fun, and memorable stay.

The idea for Moana Surf Maroc began with a dream to create an authentic Moroccan surf and yoga experience, blending adventure, relaxation, and local culture in a welcoming environment. Since opening, we’ve been proud to host guests from around the world, all looking to enjoy Morocco’s best waves and scenic coastline.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

Organisation: Small, personalized surf classes run by certified local instructors with years of experience

Group size: Maximum 6 participants per instructor to ensure individual attention; ratio 6:1

Course schedule & duration: Daily lessons, typically 2–3 hours per session; courses run for 5, 7, or 10 days depending on booking

Course programme: Warm-up and stretching, safety briefing, technique training in the water, guided practice, and surf theory sessions

Course location: Lessons take place at surf spots directly accessible from Tamraght, including Panorama Beach (beginner-friendly) and Hash Point (intermediate)

Levels & goals: All levels welcome – from complete beginners to advanced surfers; focus on improving technique, safety, and confidence in the water

Breaks: Lunch breaks included if booking full-day sessions; afternoon surf theory or free surf optional

Course language: English (some French available)

Only course participation: Yes, it is possible to join surf courses without staying at the camp
