With its many surf spots varying from sandy breaks to some of the most epic point breaks in the world, Taghazout offers something for every level and liking. Let our experienced surf guides take you on our guided tours and surf the waves you’ve always been looking for.
From Monday to Sunday, we organize one-day surf trips to the various surf spots in the area. The tours are graded according to your surf level and the daily tide and swell reports. Our surf guides are all locals and know the beaches and the waves by heart. They will always give you a proper introduction to the spot and join you in the water, giving you helpful advice to take your surfing to the next level. Our aim is for you to have the surf trip of your life!

HOW DO WE COACH SURFING?
We think it’s time surf coaching grew up. We often hear experienced surfers say “I don’t need a surf lesson. I already surf.” We think this says a lot about the level of coaching people have come to expect. Surf schools have a reputation as having nothing to offer surfers beyond learning to stand up. Of course, there is a lot more fun to be had than that and the faster you improve, the more fun you have. Good coaching is important as you progress because so many technical aspects of surfing are very counter-intuitive. So, why not expect as much from a professional surf coach as you would from a coach in other more mainstream sport like golf or tennis? A surf coach should be a skilled teacher, an articulate communicator, not to mention an ocean safety expert.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We take a logical, analytical approach which demystifies surfing allowing people of all ages and abilities to get into the sport. You will never hear us offering ambiguous advice like ‘feel the rhythm of the wave,’ instead, we communicate specific body movements simply and concisely. Surfing can be broken down into specific skill sets which can be built on top of each other, accelerating progress and building confidence.

Our beachfront surf accommodation is surrounded by banana trees and easy access to the beach. The beautifully decorated terrace offers a diverse getaway to chill and relax after an exciting day of surfing. At the same time, the location is at the center of a surf village. You will immerse yourself into the colorful and vibrant local life atmosphere. Around the hotel you will find several traditional cafes and restaurants, ATMs and pharmacies.
It is the perfect place to connect with other surf lovers and enjoy the culture, nature, and gastronomy that this amazing country has to offer to you!

CATERING
Morocco's cuisine is a heady mix of Arab, Berber, Moorish, French, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean African, Iberian, and Jewish influences. Dishes frequently feature dried and fresh fruits - apricots, dates, figs, and raisins, to name but a few. Nuts are popular too with pine nuts, almonds, and pistachios showing up in all sorts of dishes. Think of Moroccan food and deliciously aromatic dishes such as tagine immediately come to mind. Spices enriched to Morocco's cuisine for thousands of years. The most common are cinnamon, cumin, turmeric, ginger, pepper, paprika, saffron, aniseed, sesame seed, and coriander. Popular herbs include coriander leaf, parsley, and mint, used to prepare Moroccan tea.
All packages include the following meals:
BREAKFAST
Oats and cereals, eggs, daily made Moroccan bread, fruit, Yogurt, jams, Argan oil and Moroccan Amlou (Argan, honey and Almond dip). also provided are fresh juice, coffee, and tea.
LUNCH
A weekly variety consisting of stuffed baguettes, rice, pasta, and traditional Moroccan salads. A selection of fresh juices also provided.
EVENING MEALS
A weekly buffet including vegetarian, lamb, beef and fish Tagine, BBQ, Couscous, Moroccan curries and much more. Every night there is also a selection of salads and vegetable dishes. Evening meals are generally a weekly highlight for most guests!

The surf coaching program is tailored for beginner surfers and it will build the basic skills to improve quickly in this awesome sport. Our surf camp has a team of certified instructors to teach you the basics of surfing and the more advanced techniques of this sport.
At Mooja surf camp we are passionate about teaching and will ensure that your skills are taken to the next level. Nothing makes us happier than seeing your progress and having fun in the water.
If you are a first-time surfer or have only tried it once or twice, this package is for you. We will teach you all the core skills needed to begin safe, successful surfing:

PACKAGE B: Surf Guiding - from 400 € per Week / Person
Surf guiding is one of our most popular surf packages for intermediate or advanced surfers. This is the perfect way to explore the Moroccan coastline and surf as much as possible!
Don’t waste hours hunting along the coastline for the perfect wave. Our experienced local surf guides will bring you to the spots where the surf is working best based on your ability, the tides, and conditions each day.
Perhaps you have heard about the fantastic surfing in Morocco, but you’re worried about the potential dangers of reef surfing? Don’t worry, we’ll take you to a surf spot that suits your ability. We will carefully explain everything you need to know, showing you the currents and dangers of each spot and where to enter and exit the water.
For your optimum enjoyment and safety, it is important that you select the right guiding programme for your ability (intermediate or advanced) so we can focus on getting you great waves during your stay. Please note, there is no tuition included in our guiding packages.
INTERMEDIATE GUIDING
You may be nervous about surfing over rocks or reef, but rest assured, our guides will share their knowledge of each spot along with the entry and exit points to allow you to push your boundaries safely. Morocco has a large, diverse coastline that provides intermediate surfers with a playground of waves to explore.
This is the right package for you if you:

ADVANCED GUIDING
If you are an experienced surfer who is happy and prepared to travel distances to find the best, uncrowded conditions and you are comfortable riding reefs and point breaks, then the advanced guiding package is for you. Check out films such as Sipping Jet Streams, Modern Collective and Trilogy for the waves you could be riding and there are plenty more waves to be discovered!
