Summary
Our surf camp in Vieux Boucau is located only 30min north of the worldclass beachbreaks of Hosseger, France. Our camp is on the ***Camping les Sableres right behind the dunes and only 2min from the shore.
In the camp you sleep with 2 persons in a big 4-person tent on airbeds (one own cabine and airbed per person). Also in the camp there is a big chill-and partytent with plenty of beanbags to hang out. Furterhmore the camp has got a big material tent, a dining tent, table tennis and an own beachvolleyball pitch.
We offer classes for all skill levels and assure you very experienced and professional surf teachers. Some of our teachers in Vieux are sponsored and surf for the German National Team of Surfing.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
Vieux Boucau is known for its worldclass sandbars. Therefore it was host to several world longbaord championship events and local french championships in the past years.
Just a couple of minutes from the camp you will find three sandbars that offer very good waves during all tides and conditions. If there is waves in the ocean, Vieux Boucau will deliver!
The town itself offers everything one needs. There are several shops, restaurants, a post office, a pharmacy, bars and some good options to party!
CAMP OPERATOR
The camp is owned and operated by a bunch of boys from the Canary Islands. They have been surfing all their lifes and developed the idea of establishing a surf camp that offers the real surfing lifestyle and that doesn't follow trends and commerce.
Therefore we are very careful in the selection of the team and surf instructors, as we always try to employ people that truely have a passion for surfing and travelling and who are friendly and happy characters!
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING
ACCOMODATION TYPES
You are accommodated in pairs in spacious 4-person tents (an own cabine per person) with an air bed for everyone. The camp also has got a big dining tent and a big material tent. In the centre of the camp you will find a big chill-and partytent which has got an Astroturf floor. Also available in the tent is a flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo system. It's perfect to chill in the beanbags during the day and to listen to some tunes and prepare for the party at night.
CATERING
Optional you can book fullboard. It consists of a breakfast buffet with bread, cheese, ham, jam, nutella, salad, tomatoes, fruits, coffee, tea, milk, cereals etc. For lunch everyone prepares themselves a lunchpacket while in the evening we offer a warm dinner with salad and dessert prepared by our in-house chef.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES
SURF COURSE DETAILS
For us its very important that the surf lessons are perfect! Therefore we use the best material and make sure all surf instructors are fully licenced, very experienced and very good surfers. Like that some of the surfteachers in Vieux Boucau are sponsored and/or surf in the German National Team of Surfing and compete on national and international competitions.
The surf course consists of 20 lessons (45min each). During 5 days of the week you will have 4 lessons a day. So that is 2 times a day 1 hour and 30 minutes, with a break in the middle to regain power. Also we provide some theory lessons during the week to pass on some knowledge about the ocean, the waves and its dangers as well as the material.
SURF MATERIALS
For teaching we only use the best material on offer. Our teaching boards are top of the range "Quiksilver" soft-tops which are available in different sizes to suit anyone. Our "Rip-Curl" wetsuits are also top range and will keep you warm during the long hours on the water.
We also have got some bodyboards in the camp to play around with. All materials are available also outside the classes (free of charge!).
OTHER ACTIVITIES
After the long days on the beach and in the water our team will welcome you in the camp and make sure to organise some activities during the night. These include volleyball tournaments, blind kick, movie night, parties, flunkyball etc.
A highlight during the week is our very popular trip to San Sebastian (Spain). The trip is a daytrip and offers a spectacular city on the coast. The city offers great shopping and amazing architecture and sight seeing. Also the group will enjoy the sunset together before they head out to party in the infamous old town of San Sebastian (this trip has a small surcharge).

HOW TO GET THERE
The two easiest ways to reach the camp in Vieux Boucau is to 1. take a coach from Germany (bookable on our website) and 2. to organise the own arrival.
Closeby are many trainstations and airports. The closest train station is Dax while Biarritz is the closest airport. The other 2 airports in the area are Bordeaux and Bilbao.
