Große Gemeinschaftsküche, großer Essensbereich, gemütliche Sofaecke zum chillen, riesiger BBQ-Bereich, Slackline, Tischkicker, Liege"wiese", Hängematte... Ob allein abschalten, zusammen zocken, sich entspannt unterhalten oder sich gemeinsam auf den Partyabend vorbereiten - alles möglich und wenn man möchte, findet man für alle Dinge auch ziemlich schnell Verbündete! Super lockere, professionelle Surflehrer, ausgedehnte Surfstunden, chilliger Beach Shuttle mit dem Planet Surf-Van und einfach geile Spots auf Fuerte - Top! Hab einiges gelernt, auch wenn ich es nicht immer 100 % umsetzen konnte. Spaß hat es auf jeden Fall gebracht! Für einen gemütlichen Stadtbummel, zum Feiern oder essen gehen ist der Ort des Surfauses, Corralejo, einfach ideal! Das Surfhaus liegt nur ein paar Minuten vom Geschehen entfernt, sodass man sich auch spontan zu später Stunde noch für nen kleinen Trip in die City aufraffen kann, wenn das BBQ mal wieder ein wenig länger dauert! Het surfhouse heeft een hele relaxte sfeer en heb er erg leuke mensen ontmoet. Het heeft een mooie grote keuken, mooie buitenplaats inclusief slackline! :D Verder is het centrum en ook het strand op loopafstand! Wij gingen ook wel eens dingen met mensen van het huis doen, zoals uit eten maar dit was natuurlijk niet verplicht. Onze surfleraar Gabri was erg actief betrokken bij de lessen en kon ons alles vertellen over surfen en de zee! Hij zocht elke dag weer de beste spot uit waar we met zn allen in de bus heen gingen! Correlejo is een super leuk plekje met leuke winkeltjes en terrasjes met uitzicht op de zee. Ze hebben ook mooie witte stranden en je kan er super leuk op stap gaan! Avenida Grandes Playas, Corralejo, Fuerteventura, Canarias, 35660, Spain +34 662 60 30 40 249.00€ - 249.00€ Anon 9 10 Fuerte - Surfing Paradise ;-) Wir sind zu viert am Surfhaus angekommen und wurden direkt sehr nett vom Besitzer des Hauses empfangen, der uns - ok, in spaaaanischer Enspanntheit - die Schlüssel für unser Vier-Bett-Zimmer übergeben hat. Das Zimmer einfach und sauber, für das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis völlig ausreichend. Da wir eh vor hatten, so wenig zeit wie möglich in unserem Bett zu verbringen, interessierte uns vielmehr der Rest des Hauses. Was soll ich sagen, wir haben es geliebt! Die relaxte Stimmung am Nachmittag, Kochabende oder grillen am Abend bei einem lauen Lüftchen, guter Musik und verschiedensten Menschen - wir haben uns sauwohl gefühlt! Wir vier Mädls waren alle blutige Anfänger im Surfen, umso gespannter waren wir auf die Lesson und die Art und Weise, wie man uns wohl zum Take-Off bringen wird! Die Theorie fand quasi direkt am Strand statt und wurde uns nach ausreichender Aufwärmung kurz und knackig durch den Surflehrer erklärt und auf dem Board demonstriert. Dann ging es sofort ins Wasser! Warum auch ewig "auf dem Trockenen" sitzen? Während der gesamten Woche haben wir und echt super betreut gefühlt, jeder nach seinem eigenen Können. Und siehe da, am dritten tag gelang sogar der Take-Off, zumindest Zwein von uns ;-) Da wir nicht so die Partymäuse sind, hat uns das Nachtleben nicht so sehr interessiert. Vielmehr haben wir die Gegend erkundet. Nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Surfhaus entfernt befindet sich die Küste mit einigen, leider zum Teil überfüllten kleinen Badebuchten. Ein wenig mehr Lauflaune lohnt sich! Gen Süden befindet sich der Parque Natural de Corralejo mit seiner einsamen Dünenlandschaft und dem Panorama der Insel Lobos. Total schön und einsam (bis auf einige versteckte Anhänger der FKK ;-)! Wir haben uns günstig Fahrräder geliehen, sind mit der Fähre nach Lobos gefahren… Wenn man nach dem Surfkurs noch fit genug ist, kann man also durchaus noch einiges mehr sehen in und um Corralejo! Super entspannte und offene Atmosphäre im Haus, für freie Minuten vor/nach dem Surfen gab es Slackline, Tischkicker und nen kleinen Sonnenbereich und oft entspannte Musik, die dem ganzen quasi den Ton gegebene hat! Gemeinsames Kochen, BBQ – alles zur Genüge und mit ner Menge Spaß gemacht! Zur City mit Fress-, Shopping- und Drink“meile“ wars auch nicht weit (10 min. zu Fuß). Für müde Surferknochen also perfekt ;-) Wem es nichts ausmacht, mit der Menge verschiedener Menschen in einem Haus zu leben, immer Leute um sich zu haben und mit der dabei unvermeidbaren kleinen Unordnung zurecht zu kommen, für den ist das Surfhaus von Planet Surf auf jeden Fall das richtige! Ich bin als Intermediate gestartet. Im Surf-Van saß ich mit 4 Anfängern und noch zwei weiteren Intermediate- Surfern. Also echt ne gemischte Truppe. Aber unser Surflehrer, ein entspannter, wirklich unheimlich organisierter Italiener (Unterricht in Englisch) hat es dennoch super hinbekommen, dass jeder auf seine Kosten und vor allem individuell vorankommen konnte. Die Bedingungen spielten zwar nicht immer 100 pro mit, aber das muss man einfach mit einberechnen. Natur ist Natur! Jo, Nightlife… Das ist das, was man selber daraus macht! Genügend Möglichkeiten in der Nähe gabe es auf jeden Fall, um sich billig in den Bars (kein Eintritt) mit recht guter Musik nen guten Abend zu machen! Um nicht nur das Nachtleben kennenzulernen, sondern auch ein bisschen was von der Umgebung zu sehen, haben wir uns am Wochenende ein Auto geliehen und sind in den Süden gefahren. Bei der Inselgröße kein Problem! Fuerte ist einfach der Hammer! Ich bin allein angekommen, um einfach nochmal eine Auszeit vor der Prüfungszeit zu nehmen. Die hatte ich! Ich bin mit zwei super netten Mädls aus den Niederlanden in einem Zimmer gelandet. Nach einem halben Tag hatte ich mich direkt eingelebt und mein Englisch ordentlich aufgefrischt! So viele verschiedene Leute unter einem Dach, jeder offen, jeder hilfsbereit und unternehmungslustig... Aber nicht nur deswegen, sondern auch durch den ganzen Außenbereich ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen! Ich komme wieder! Ich hab es geliebt, mit dem Van jeden Tag zum Spot zu fahren und was von der Umgebung zu sehen! Zwar war die Stimmung oft verschlafen am frühen morgen, aber das war nach dem ersten Joke vom Surflehrer, spätestens bei Ankunft am Meer und nach der Erwärmung verflogen. 5 Stunden Surfkurs, 3 Stunden reine Zeit im Wasser, keine Minute kürzer... Massenabfertigung sieht anders aus. Das hat mich echt positiv überrascht. Super war, das wir das Surfmaterial auch nach dem Kurs nutzen durften! Also gings mit dem Leihauto am We nochmal an den Beach... Corralejo hat wirklich alles zu bieten, was man sich wünscht. Belebte Straßen mit ner Menge Restaurants und Shops, aber auch eine gemütlich kleine Altstadt mit total coolen Surfbars und lokalen Restaurants, die einem echtes kanarisches Urlaubsfeeling vermitteln! Mein favorite: La Plaza - super niedliches Tapas-Restaurant, das wir mit den Gästen aus dem Surfhaus, den Surflehrer und Praktikanten besucht haben - leeecker! Favorit Nr. 2: Tropical! Bei den Preisen und nem Tag in der Sonne und im Meer, hat das besonders gut geschmeckt, in jeder Bar! Aber auch landschaftsmäßig bin ich voll auf meine Kosten gekommen. Die Küste ist nur 5 min. vom Surfhaus entfernt.Am Hafen kann man verschiedene Bootsexkursionen nutzen z.B. nach Lobos! Echt zu empfehlen! The surfhouse is a very relaxed place to stay, the people are very kind and sometimes they organize an bbq together! You get to know the people very quick and if you’re open for new connections it’s easy to make some friends ! I had a great time there and will definitely recommend this surf camp, I will come back sometimes! I’m very glad with the improvement I made during this week. The surf teacher was really focused to improve the skills of everybody and is very strict about the technique! Good for me and soooo glad I don’t use my knee anymore! :D Correlejo is reallyyy nice! You can go to the shops or go for a swim on the very nice white beaches and of course you can surf! The have also a lot of nice restaurants, I can’t choose witch one I like the best! Surf Camp Fuerteventura is located in a town called Corralejo in the north end of the island, just infront of the island of Lanzarote. Although the beach is just a step away from your accomodation, we will take you to all the best surf spots that best suit your surfing level, every single day. By staying in Corralejo you´ll get the chance to surf, practice many other sports, go shopping, enjoy the nightlife and not to mention relax, as Corralejo has the most to offer of all the towns in Fuerteventura.

Currently there are many Surf Camps & Surf Schools on the island due to its ideal surfing conditions, perfect waves and climate. This is why many surf companies have opened a busines on the island but none as Planet Surf Camps. choose Surf Camp Fuerteventura and not other Planet Surf Camp is one of the few official Surf Camps of the Spanish & Canary Island Surfing federations that teach on the island.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

Location and surf conditions

The camp is located on the north of the Island, in a little village called Corralejo. It has developed itself to become the main surf destination on the Island and has plenty of world class waves just around the corner. Our surf teachers will pick you up for your lessons and shuttle you to the best beach of the day for your classes. Like that you will never miss out on epic waves!

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

Accommodation types

We offer two different types of accommodation; our surf house and our private ocean view surf apartments 30 m away from the beach and also you can stay at our private surf villas (5 – 6 people)

The surf house is located 400m from the beach in centric Corralejo as it is near shops, pubs, night clubs, buses etc. It is close to everything you might need.

If you stay in the surf house of Surf Camp Fuerteventura, a 7 day stay with 20 surf lessons will cost you 249€, probably the best offer you will find on the market. We have 2, 3 and 4 person rooms that share bathrooms, kitchen and living rooms. The surf house has also got a pool, table tennis, games and TV.

The private surf apartments, located right at the beach, are intended for two people and are very central. If you would like to take advantage of this type of accommodation, 7 nights and 20 surf lessons will cost you from 250€ to 350€ depending on your selection and seasonality. This type of accommodation is perfect if you are looking for more privacy and space for your belongings..

All our Surf Camp Fuerteventura clients can use the surf material not just during lessons but anytime, including weekends.

Catering

In Fuerteventura we do not offer an option of food included. All the apartments and the surf house have a fully equiped kitchen. Also the town Corralejo has many supermarkets and plenty of nice Restaurants and Bars.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

Surf Course details

Our surf course consists of 20 lessons (45min each). That means that from monday till friday tou will have 3 hours of surfing lessons every day. The surf teacher will pick you up in the morning and you will go to the best available surf spot each day. Like that you will never miss out on good waves.

For us it is very important that our surf teachers are fully licensed and very experienced as well as good surfers. Also all our surf teachers in Fuerteventura are locals with very good knowledge of the Island and conditions. They are all very friendly and speak excellent english!

Surf Equipment

We only use the best available equipment for our lessons. We have soft-top and hard-top surfboards which are available in all sizes to suit everyones needs. Also we have top of the range wetsuits for everyone who likes to stay extra warm in the water, allthough on Fuerteventura you don't necessarily need them.
Off course the surf equipment is free of charge and can also be used outside the classes for free!

Other activities

Corralejo and Fuerteventura have plenty on offer so it will never get boring. Wheather you just want to relax by the pool or at the beach or go shopping or experience the vulcanic Island, Fuerteventura offers it all.

Corralejo is also known for its nice restaurants, traditional food and great parties, so you will always find something to do.

How to get there?

The best way to get to the surf camp in Corraljo is to fly to the Island and either take the public transport to Corralejo, which is very easy and cheap, or hire a shuttle service which will bring you directly in to the centre of Corralejo where you will find our surf camp.

PACKAGES & PRICES

We recommend arriving between Friday afternoon and Sunday evening to start the surf course with all the other customers on Monday (of course, it is also possible to arrive on other days; we only teach in small groups so you will achieve your personal goals anyways).
