Surf Lessons in the Algarve
We offer surf lessons throughout the Algarve, from Lagos to Sagres and up to Aljezur.
Our small group sizes (maximum six surfers per qualified coach) allow for focused coaching for all levels, from beginners to those looking to improve. At the core of our approach is a love for wave riding, playfulness, and a deep respect for the ocean and environment.
A Typical Lesson
Meet up
Meet at one of our pickup locations (details below).
We take you to the beach for the day’s conditions and the groups ability.
Warm up
A Soul of Surfing, yoga-influenced beach warmup with breathwork and visualisation.
Surf
A two-and-a-half hour surf session (yes, you can have a break!)
Review
A surf session analysis and debrief on the beach and finally get dropped back any of the pick up locations.
Beginner to Intermediate Surf Coaching
Our experienced instructors are passionate about teaching surfers of all levels, from beginners to intermediates, with a focus on technical surf coaching.
We believe that surfing is a lifestyle, and we offer a holistic approach to lessons that includes ocean literacy, wave riding, soul surfing and blue health. Our Soul of Surfing program combines a little yoga and mindfulness with technical coaching, creating a deep connection with the ocean and promoting progress. We offer small group lessons in the best location for the day, including Lagos, Sagres, Luz, Burgau and the west coast.
