Just 10 minutes from Jaco, Surf Costa is also close enough to the nightlife, but far enough away where you can really relax. We offer full tours, or just home rentals. Surf Costa allows you to completely customize your journey to the rich coast. Located on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, you can find all types of surfing breaks to suit your surfing needs.

The camp is for everyone. Whether young or old, alone, a large group or even as a family.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

Learn to Surf in paradise with personalized professional surf instruction.  Our guides are licensed instructors, lifeguards, and bilingual. We create a safe environment for you to learn in the most beautiful place in the world. This vacation package is for true beginning surfers or intermediate surfers looking to take their wave-riding to the next level down in Costa Rica. Daily surf instruction in the morning, practice sessions in the afternoon, and a bit of relaxation, adventure, or nightlife to take in some of the sights and culture during your stay at Surf Costa.
Our surfer’s paradise trip offers you a personal driver and guide that will drive you for 2 surf sessions a day, as well as to the local store and restaurant for dinner.  This is a no frills trip for serious surfers.

Our private vacation home resort is in the safety of a gated development in Esterillos Oeste, Costa Rica. Located on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, you can find all types of surfing breaks to suit your surfing needs.

Ways to get to the camp

When you arrive in SJO, you will need to follow the lines through Immigration, baggage claim, and a final customs scan. There is only 1 exit in San Jose, so if you have made it outside, you are in the right place. When you exit, walk down the sidewalk to the right about 200 feet in order to get out of the crowd of taxi drivers. Your driver will find you there. Do not accept a ride from another agency unless we have instructed you to do so. For groups of 6 or less, we provide 1 scheduled airport transfer, both to and from the airport. If flights arrive at different times, we typically arrange a pickup for the final flight. We can add additional airport transfers for $120-$160 depending on how many guests will be taking the second ride. For groups of 7 or more, we offer 2 rides each way, so just let us know the flight info and we will coordinate pickups and drop off times.

Important details

First thing, is don’t forget your passport! After that, we recommend bringing sun block, your own personal toiletries, bug repellent, and 1 beach towel. Our homes are stocked with bath towels, toilet paper, linens, sheets, coffee pot, and kitchen and cooking utensils in the full homes. There are stores in driving distance where you can purchase most all standard products and amenities in case you forget something, but much more cost effective to bring your own travel sized.
