ACCOMMODATION TYPES

 Our surf camp surf house overlooks the ocean. Located in small village called Tamraght, we are just 14 km north of Agadir city and 2 km south of Taghazout village. In our traditional Moroccan house, rooms are clean and comfortable.

Our surf house has a large Terrace with ocean view where you can enjoy watching a real magic sunset.

You will stay with other surfers in a funny, friendly and a sociable atmosphere. The surf spots, panoramas, killer point, anchor point, Taghazout Bay, Hash point, and the crocro can be viewed from the terrace of the house.

Moreover, our great sunny terrace and our large furnished lounge overlooking the sea are the secret assests of the house. In these places you can relax and enjoy cable TV, watch a DVD or playing XBOX game. We have a confortable living room suitable for reading and checking emails.
Our building is covered by Wi-Fi including bedrooms and common areas.

We have two types of rooms upgrade and standard. Upgrade rooms means that you will have a private double or twin single beds with a private bathroom, it is a good option for couples or two friends. Standard room means that the rooms are without bathrooms with shared bathroom. We have different type of standard rooms. Double, twin single, triple bedrooms suitable for groups of friends who want to share the same room.

We offer full board accommodation (including breakfast, lunch and dinner + surfing packages) or (full board accommodation + surfing packages and Yoga).

Our house will serve you most of the delicious home made food of the area. If it is your first time in the region you will diffinetly taste an intressting variety of tradional and modern food.
Breakfast: ( eggs, crisps, cereal, delicious Moroccan bread, Moroccan mint tea, coffee, juice etc...) Pick up Lunch: ( Tasty Sandwiches, rice, pasta, salad, fresh fruits, bottle of water).
After a busy surfing day we will treat you with six different menues during the week where you taste most of our traditional dishes. You will be more than welcome to have a look on the process of making food and learn secrets of Moroocan dishes with our friendly staff Malika and Mina.
At surf town you will enjoy all the varieties of Moroccan dishes including: Moroccan Bread, Couscous, Tagine, Moroccan mint Tea……etc. vegetarian food also available.

S.T.M designed different Packages for all levels. The Beginner surf lessons package is a great option for the person that never tried surfing before or for those that surfed only few days and still need some few techniques.

The Intermediate surf package is a good option for the surfers that can Paddle to the lineup without the need of surf instructor, make take off on a green wave, go to front side or back side….etc.

The advanced surf package is a option for good surfer or pro surfers that can surf without the need of instructor surfers that can surf all type of waves big, small, rock, sand, beach break, point break, reef break, barreling and fast waves, surf over a shallow rocks or reef.

Breaks directly at the main spot and at nearby spots

Morocco in known with a surname kingdom of right-hand long point breaks. Super consistent from fall through spring, Morocco surf spots fire from heavy northern Atlantic swell energy.

Morocco surf spots remain uncrowded despite their world-class reputation. Traveling European surfers on holidays.

Seasonal conditions

The summer months (June - September) see small to medium swells with surf mostly on the beaches and reefs on the more exposed north west coast. This is a great time for anyone looking for fun, uncrowded warm water surf. There are some bigger days during this time for those looking for something more challenging.During the winter months the waves, that have made Morocco famous, come to life. There is a huge variety of surf in Agadir Area southern Morocco. There are not many places like it in the whole. The region has something for everyone, from ideal beginner waves to challenging reef ledges.

Intermediates and those new to the sport should not be put off or worried. Due to the nature of the coastline there is almost always somewhere sheltered and manageable, and those looking for something challenging won’t be disappointed. Morocco is blessed with well over 300 days of sunshine a year. Between the months November to February there is a small chance of rain.

Characterization of surroundings/region

Surf Town Morocco is located in the Agadir region of southern Morocco. Tamraght village front of Divel's rock, Banana beach, krokro, is a unique spots on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Conveniently located 40 min from Agadir international airport it’s a short hop ( 2-4 hrs) from most central European cities. It’s the closest place for any European surfer to get year round warm water, perfect waves and a unique cultural experience.

Activities and facilities

Taghazout and the surrounding area offer a whole range of other activities. If you feel like a break from surfing or for those of you who don't surf then horse and camel riding and quad biking are all close by and easily organized. For those who’d like to relax there are miles of empty golden sandy beaches to discover or you can sunbath and chill out in the privacy of the villa or your apartment. The Souk of Agadir provide the quintessential Moroccan shopping experience. one or Two days trips to the ancient city of Marrakech can be organized. The beautiful seaside town of Essaouira is only two and half hours north and is a popular one day trip. There is a great market (souk) in Agadir which has all the stuff you would expect in Morocco: an abundance of leather goods, woodwork, ceramics, rugs, carpets, jewellery and clothing. Non threatening haggling is part of the fun! There is also a small market in Taghazout’s village square that sells local wares.

Ways to get to the camp

Morocco is served by direct flights from the UK and other major European airports, with flight times to Agadir between 2-4 hours. Guests travelling from the US can connect either in Casablanca or at a European airport as there are no direct flights to Agadir. From Agadir airport it’s a 45 minute drive south east along the coast road. Road transfers from Marrakech can be easily arranged and take 4 - 5 hours and cost approx 100€ for 4 people max 4person in the car. Please contact us if you would like us to arrange a transfer or would like a quote.

Important details

EU passport holders with a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date do not require a visa to enter Morocco for tourist purposes.

PACKAGE A - BEGINNER SURF LESSONS - from 420 € per Week / Person

Surfing is an amazing experience when you can exprience the beauty of the nature with the adventure of surf. It is a great opportunity, So don’t waste another minute, drop us a line and come and join us in the waves.

If you’ve never surfed before and have always wanted to give it a go or have tried it once or twice and you want to improve your skills. this surf school package is a good option. Our friendly and professional local instructors will introduce you to the waves and make sure you will make the most of it as the will:

- Teach you beach safety,
- How to have a good balance on a board,
- Explain how the waves work, tides, rips,
- run through the technicalities of the board then teach you the basics on the beach how to paddle, pop up and how to ride your first white water waves.

Once you’re ready, they will take you into the waves and start guiding you into your first rides.

All you need to be able to do to start surfing is swim 20-30 meters. You first learn in very small waves in the white water so you get familiar with the waves and you get started safely.

We work with the very best local surf instructors to ensure that you have a safe and fun introduction to this amazing great sport.

we make surf sessions photos and when back to surf house we show you the photo or video feedback and give tuition to progress to have a fun surfing holidays.

The intermediate surf package is a good option for the surfers who surfed before. Our experienced local surf guides will drive you to the best surf spots adapted to your level. for the first day of surfing with us please expect that our instructors will drive you to surf the easy small waves to test your surfing level. this is of course for the sake of your safely. Morocco coastline near Taghazout bay has more than 30 surf sports that provides intermediate surfers with the perfect conditions and space to progress.

The Intermediate Surf Package is all about finding the right conditions to improve your skills and to enhance your experience of riding unbroken waves.

An intermediate rider is a surfer who can successfully paddle out alone at a familiar location and catch and ride waves to a logical finish frontside or backside, confidently using the three basic surfing turns - bottom turn, top turn and cutback.

To have a great surfing holiday it is important that you select the right package for your ability. If you choose our  intermediate guiding package you should be able to:

- Paddle into your own waves.
- Turn frontside and backside across the wave.
- Take off on a green wave. (unbroken wave).
- Surf a "hard" board.
- Surf over rocks with confidence.

This package includes:

The Advanced Surf Guiding package is a great option for advanced and experienced surfers. Every day our local surf guide will drive you to the best break of the day, our surf guide are locals from the area, they will tell you all about the spots, the easy way to get in and out, the rocks, the currents, type of wave, etc..

Our advanced surf guiding package offers the chance for advanced and experienced surfers who have the ability to surf point breaks and reef breaks.

Morocco coastline especially at Taghazout bay area is full of world class points, reef and beach breaks. Some of them excellent for intermediate. others long, fast, barreling waves for advanced surfers. To have a great surfing holiday it is important that you select the right package for your ability.

In order to participate in our advanced surf guiding you should be able to:
- Perform cutbacks, bottom turn, roller, re-entries...
- Surf over shallow rocks or reef with confidence.
- Able to ride a shortboard and longboard.
- Surf all type of waves, big, small, barreling, fast..
