This is us, Diogo and Duarte, two brothers always seeking new adventures, discovering new places, searching for off the beaten path waves, and loving to meet new cultures and friends. We now want to share and explore with you the best that our hometown – Sintra – can offer. Plenty waves, sunsets, hikes and smiles to experience! Sintra is calling!

ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

We want to share with you authentic moments while riding a wave or tasting the Portuguese specialty cuisine. Watching the sunset on the most western point of Europe (Cabo da Roca – Sintra) while drinking a toast with your friends, laughing and remembering how good simple things in life are.

Dorm Rooms
Our spacious dorms have comfy bunk beds and shared bathrooms. Each bed has an individual power outlet, shelf and nightlight, as well a storage under bed with so you can storage your belongings. The beds were made with strong materials so you can enjoy a quite night.

Couple/Twin Room
This couple/twin room was designed for a more flexible guest, a private room on the outside area with a stunning view to the mountain of Sintra (Pena Palace, and Moorish Castle). A private terrace as well for relaxation.

The couple/twin rooms are spacious with modern design and plenty of light, with an amazing view to the mountain of Sintra (Pena Palace, and Moorish Castle). The beds are either a couple bed or two single beds. These rooms have ensuite bathrooms. With a mezzanine for a third person in case you are three.

Suite
Our suite is the queen in the house. Ideal choice if you want to take your surf trip to the next level. The suite has a big couple bed and a comfortable area outside to enjoy the view.

Despite not being extremely vegetarian, since most of our guests and friends visiting us are vegetarian/ pescatarian we have adopted this diet as base.
By trying to get a diet based mostly on the seasonal and local products (vegetables and fruit from the local markets), we aim to offer a healthy and tasty food.

Surfboard and Wetsuite

Surf Guiding Session from 80€
We have been sharing the good waves of our region with friends for more than 20 years. Our surf guiding package is designed for those who know how to surf and want to explore some less accessible waves that only a local guide can provide. We drive you to the spot and either surf with you or film you, on your request. We in The Peak House, will ensure either on a beach break or on some less crowded rocky points, you guys will take the most out of the session. We will provide all the info you guys need to better understand how these surf spots they work. All our surf instructors are very experienced surfers and certified by the FPS – Federação Portuguesa de Surf (Portuguese Surf Federation). In case you want to have registered your sessions in the water, we can provide a photo session/ video analysis. This is the best way to keep alive your good memories from your surf session within Sintra misty area (Natural Park), as well as a good tool to improve your technic.

Private Surf Class from 100€
The best way to learn how to surf is through personalized private surf instruction from The Peak Surf House. In our private surfing lessons you will receive one-on-one instruction on the beach and in the water, ensuring your safety and optimal learning curve. Our private surfing lessons are scheduled according both to your desire and the surf conditions. First time lessons consist on some theory at the beach just before stepping into the water – so you can have some value information of how everything works in the water (15/20minutes), and 1.25 hours of personalized water time. Our proven and professional instruction methodology offers a step-by-step approach to your skill development. Second and consecutive lessons consist of all water time! Come let our world class and highly trained certified instructors teach you the fundamentals of surfing so you’ll taking the most out of the session. Get the high quality attention that you deserve and the professional instruction that you expect. All sessions emphasize safety and fun, but we also take the next step in teaching our guests to read the ocean and judge waves so they can start to build their own confidence.

Surf Photo Session from 60€
At The Peak House we offer you a unique opportunity to feel like a professional surfer by capturing high quality surf photo of you in action. Suitable for surfers of all ages and abilities, individuals, couples or small groups. Our surf photographer can shoot you from the beach with the long lens, up close from in the water (in-water photos). This is the best way to keep alive your good memories from your surf session within Sintra misty area (Natural Park), as well as a good tool to improve your technic.

MORE INFO, HOW TO GET THERE & FAQ

We are within the magical Sintra Natural Park (Parque Natural de Sintra), in between the Hill and the Ocean – most western point of Europe. From beautiful hiking’s over the cliffs of some beautiful beaches, to riding a bike exploring the cool trails on the hill, strolling around the Village of Sintra and visiting the Palaces and Castle. Exploring some of the best waves of our Atlantic coast, and tasting the traditional food. Located at 25 minutes from Lisbon, you can spend a day /half day in town to visit some museums or other touristic attractions. See our diary.

In case you get the surf package we provide you a ride to the surf classes during the week. We have also bicycles in the House so you can ride around exploring every corner on the hills or enjoying the stunning views to the ocean.

The easiest way to get to The Peak House from Lisbon airport is by Taxi, Uber or other. In case we would like a private shuttle, we can pick you at the airport (you have to book with 24h in advance)
