Aktion Ericeira Surf Hostel was just completely beyond our expectations! The rooms are huge, the beds are super comfy and each room has its own bathroom! The staff was super nice and was always ready to help with whatever we needed. But of course, the best part of our stay was at the end of the day, chilling out in the pool (yes, they have a pool, how crazy is that?) and watching the beautiful sunset holding a caipirinha! ;)
Surfing:
The surfing lessons were so much fun! The instructor was super nice and careful with all of us which made us feel really safe since this was our first time surfing. LOVED IT!

The hostel was just one short walk away from the beautiful village of Ericeira that had so much to do and see!
This hostel is new, sparkling clean, spacious with great design and a beautiful view. The beds were cosy and rooms had nice little details like individual bed light, plugs and lockers. The common areas were nicely laid out, with great spots to sit outside in the sunshine or by the pool. There was also a well stocked shop to buy drinks and snacks and a lovely breakfast with toast/cake/cereal/ fruit and juices/coffee/tea.

The best part was the staff, they were super friendly and went out of their way to take care of me, even picking me up from the station when I couldn’t get a taxi. I felt at home there and really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back!
My experience in Portugal was full of “pinch me, this can’t be real” moments. I never expected that arriving at a hostel in a surf town would also inspire that feeling. The Aktion in Ericeira is the most mind blowing hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It feels more like being at a modern luxury resort.

The staff and volunteers were chill, kind, and friendly. The view is great. The building, rooms and space in general are really cool and clean. Everything about this hostel is impressive. I’d recommend!
