Surfing:This is the best hotel I have visited so far. If you want to relax in a quiet surrounding, listen to the ocean while doing yoga and eat healthy and delicious food, Xinalani is you place to be. Everybody is really friendly and the rooms are incredible. The yoga teachers are very professional and the whole atmosphere is familiar. I love this place and will definitely come back.

Surfing:I absolutely loved my experience. The wait staff was incredible. Our tour guide(Angel) on the waterfall hike and the jungle hike was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and really made my experience more special. The yoga studios were wonderful and I appreciate so much that so many of the trees were kept surrounding the buildings. The birds and animals made me feel like I really was in the jungle. I can’t wait to come back again.

Surfing:Loved every minute at Xinalani and can't wait to go back. 3 days was too short to enjoy all that is offered. Attention to detail is noticeable everywhere. Loved our petite suite #8, perfect combo of privacy and jungle/ocean views. Must try is the 4 hand massage, it's mind blowing. Another of our favorites was horse riding to local village waterfalls. From friendly staff who remember your name and make you feel special to healthy meals, Xinalani has you covered. 5 stars all the way!

Surfing:The very first time I arrived and stayed at Xinalani I was a guest of Rusty Wells' yoga retreat, and I fell madly in-love with this jungle paradise. It is indeed a "sanctuary of self discovery." I'm just returning home from my second visit to Xinalani, this time as a co-host leading guests on their journeys of self discovery, and it was even more special. The jungle yoga deck, Greenhouse studio, Meditation Cabin, and brand-new casitas make it the most perfect place to love and flow together. Chef Mario kept our bellies full of incredibly delicious vegetarian and gluten free food, and the staff and special touches made me feel right at home. I hope to return again soon, thank you Xinalani, thank you.

Surfing:Without a doubt this Retreat Centre was worth all 5 stars! Staff - Exceptional service - Bernice, Jimmy, Angel, Raul, Luis, Marco, Saul and every other staff was friendly, took the time to remember our names, remembered my allergies without needing a reminder, and very accommodating Rooms - great sizer room. Despite having a net at night (which I'm grateful for), no critters or insects found their way into my room during my stay. Beds were comfy. The cleaning staff took great care in maintaining the room as well. Studio rooms - amazing views, quality spaces, with all the props needed for a solid yoga practice Food - Every meal was incredible in taste, presentation and variety. No 2 days were alike. Spa Services - just wow! I hope to return as soon as I can - it was worth every moment to have this slice of paradise!!!! Thank you so much

Surfing:This was my second time to Xinalani. It is a magical place. Everything about it is exquisite. The staff are amazing, friendly, all smiles and will take care of your every need. The rooms are stunning - all of them look out to the ocean. I loved having one side open and listening to the ocean. The food is out of this world - Mario the chef is amazing! Berenice, Alex and Angel went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I can't wait to return. Everyone needs to go to Xinalani at least one in their life! Alex Mathisen.

Surfing:As a retreat leader, it is always mildly terrifying to bring a group of people to an unknown destination abroad and hoping that it will be to everybody's liking. Xinalani exceeded my every expectation and I look forward to returning again to this heavenly place. In fact I was so impressed by this past week that I have already inquired about booking a teacher training here for next year. I cannot think of a more perfect place for a yoga retreat. The studios are breathtaking, fully equipped with props and immaculately maintained. The food is fresh, delicious and plentiful and served with great enthusiasm and affection. The staff go out of their way to treat you like family and Omar, Alejandro and Berenicia at the front desk are genuinely concerned with making sure that everybody is happy and taken care of. The fact that the resort is entirely open air is a huge part of its magic. Having the sound of the ocean waves as a backdrop to every activity - sleeping, waking, eating, practicing yoga, climbing up and down the hillsides, meditating - truly helps to lure you into a different mode of being. Having to take a boat to get to the resort deepens the sense of being on "retreat." It is definitely important to share the information with your guests that Xinalani so readily shares on their website - that the rooms are open air, that you will essentially be living in the jungle and must have a sense of adventure and be prepared for the unpredictable, that you will be climbing innumerable stairs! But those who read all this and who are keen to accompany you will be enchanted. From my perspective, the stairs added an element of athleticism to the week that I think left everybody empowered and invigorated. The rooms are cheerful, spacious, comfortable and private with stunning views and an incredible housekeeping staff who spoil you with their detailed care. The massage therapists are among the most talented I have experienced anywhere in the world. I particularly recommend Angel, who one of my friends aptly described as a "body genius" and who I believe is a true healer. His warmth and good cheer will set you at ease immediately. Next time I go back I will be sure to stay on a few extra days by myself to relax and soak up the natural splendor of this wonderful place. Thank-you Xinalani!
