Umgebung, Nightlife, etc.):After already having visited most of the major surf destinations in the planet, in February this winter I finally decided to check out Madagascar ... to resume there are natives everywhere, its stinkin hot, waves everywhere with not a person in sight, the most insane little fishing villages especially between Toliara and Anakao, just ask Tony, the night life in Tulear a must see and do, the hottest chicks if youre single of course, ... and Tony Blair!!! always by your side guiding you through new experiences and filling you in on the local customs, with him the skys the limit, just name and its done! I could write a whole chapter on my trip but the best idea is to just GO!!! PS. Before leaving its strongly recommended to do some serious training cause you will surf big time and Tony doesnt muck around, he surfs full on!!! Otherwise if youre just a learner Tony will find a suitable spot for you and make sure youre ok ... surf perfect reefs all alone or just with your buddies
Surfkurs/Surfen:I just returned from a 3 week surf trip in Madagascar and had such an incredible time there.Based in Tulear Blair takes you to the best spots north and south coast depending on swell, tides, and wind. He will get you to the best waves on any given day but also when its flat Mada is beautiful and more than worth a trip, uncrowded clean beaches and water, good fishing and diving, incredible cheap seafood, and cool friendly people.
Sonstiges (z.B. Umgebung, Nightlife, etc.):If you want to surf perfect reefs all alone or just with your buddies Mada is the place to go. The waves are world class but fickle so local knowledge is the key to score epic surf.
I can't wait to be back there, amazing trip!

Sonstiges (z.B. Umgebung, Nightlife, etc.):The Tulear area of Madagascar has some great empty waves. The problem is the surf is fickle and remote (boat access). Tony has the knowledge and equipment to get you to the waves. His prices are fair and so is he (a rare thing in Mada!). He speaks English and French and has a lot of practical info about the area. If you are spending the time and money to go to Tulear to surf, contact Tony before your trip. Enjoy!

The extreme diversity and beauty of each location offers a new and unique experience each time you set sail, from the perfect beachbreaks and raging nitelife of Tulear to the absolutely virgin beauty and tranquility of the tiny fishing village in Sarodrano, with the most perect array of breaks you have ever seen, you'd be hard pressed to find a better set up anywhere in the world! Add on top of that the super little laid back village of Mangily and the sublime waves at Ifaty reef then throw in Anakao and the insane waves at Flameballs and this place will just blow your mind! Blair has got the whole place totally wired and thanks to his local knowledge he sets you up with the killer program according to the conditions from day to day ... couldn't praise you enough my friend, keep up the good work and hope to get back to your little slice of paradise as soon as possible!!!

J'ai surfé des vagues magnifiques grace aux connaissances de Blair sur les conditions météorologiques, c'étais génial! De plus; il n'y a personne dans l'eau, ni surfeurs ni requins. Alors si vous avez en assez d'etre 20 surfeurs au line up ou que les requins vous empechent de pratiquer votre sport favori alors c'est à Tulear que vous devez aller!et si vous aimez faire la fete, Tulear est l'endroit idéal, j'y suis allé 2 fois déja et je retourne une 3éme. J'adore cet endroit. Merci Blair pour tout, le meilleure guide de surf que j'ai jamais rencontré ! TRANSLATION: Mada Surf Tours helped me discover the most insane places such as Sarodrano, Anakao, and Mangily ... I surfed perfect waves thanks to Blair's local knowledge of the breaks and surf conditions, it was awesome! As well it is totally uncrowded, no surfers or sharks, so if you're sick of getting hassled by 20 guys in the line up, or the shark factor is keeping you out of the water Tulear is the place you want to be! To top it off if you like partying you won't find any better!! I have already been twice and am heading back for the third time, just can't get enough of this place!! Mada Surf Tours is like a hybrid mixture of the perfect surf trip set in a wild west background, never a dull moment, between surfing perfect waves with just yourself and the crew, discovering all these wild little fishing villages up and down the coast, eating the freshest and cheapest seafood you've ever seen, and the hectic partying in Tulear, this place has it all! In the words of "Arnie I'll be back!!" and that's for sure! Thanks for everything Blair, you da man mate, no way I could have ever done it without ya, you're onto a winner here, only thing I could add is, don't change anything including yaself, bloody legend !!!

If I have to describe this place in a word, this word would have been: Fuckin insane mate! it's like a pearl you find in the middle of indian ocean ,la creme de la creme, if you spend all your time chasing perfect and uncrowded waves, this is the place to be for sure, a beautifull paradize you would never want to leave!!waves was pumping quite everydays, we just met friendly and happy people, enjoying nice chill out atmosphere, eating really good food and having good partys with crazy music that makes you burn the dancefloor,there is beautifull beaches and little local fisherman towns that makes unforgettable surf trip!! And I better not speak about the lovely chiks you meet there! there is a few waves you can surf around the place and Blair is knowing each ones as his pocket and bring us surf the cleanest wave depending of the conditions!'en bref, I spent a month down there, and had the beautifull life that all proper surfer is searching to live and I recomand to anyone to taste it!! thanks a lot for all blair you took good care about us during this trip and we had so much fun!!eeekaaaa we will be back mate!!!

Umgebung, Nightlife, etc.):Not quite sure where to start here, just finished a 15 day surf trip and had the most insane uncrowded waves I have ever seen in my life, it just didn't stop pumping, only one flat day and apart from that just surfing perfect waves with just me and the guide and occasionally our skipper, it's like somethingout of an indonesian surf movie, you just get so many waves it's almost surreal. Still shaking my head wondering whether it was a dream, best trip ever and i won't even mention the rest, insane mate be back for sure!
