Rodrigo Santelli:
I am your host Rodrigo who started surfing off the coast of Sao Paulo at a young age and soon it became my passion. After many international trips to places like Peru , Mexico , El Salvador , Europe, Australia , Hawaii and Indonesia and many trips up and down the coast in Brazil where I got some experience in surfing and also traveling I decided to call Florianopolis home in 2003. I started training BJJ in Sao Paulo in 1995 after a surf trip to Puerto Escondido where I met a friend that was a black belt who showed me some moves. Many years of training later where I could compete in some local tournaments until I got promoted to Brown Belt in 2002 and moved to Florianopolis in the next year..

Along with daily Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training or Surfing you will enjoy our comfortable and inviting accommodation close to the beach where you can rest or enjoy the beach in between the training sessions or surfing sessions. Our accommodation is situated only a short walk from the ocean, surrounded by stunning nature with lagoons forest hills and pristine beaches. Located in a safe street, with sidewalk, near the beach and essencial services No matter if you’re a solo traveller, a group of friends or a couple, we have different types of accommodation to suit your needs.

Newly built studio 400 meters from the beach in the middle of Joaquina (Tavares river). The studio is airy, with lots of natural light:

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Training:
Bjj Surf Experience in Florianopolis is guarantee for great times on and off the mats. We want to bring to you a small intimate training experience with private and group Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes in a friendly environment and in one of (if not) the best location in Brazil, Florianopolis close to some of the most beautiful and pristine beaches you have ever been to.

Kiteboarding:
We also offer private kiteboarding lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Our Kitesurf course is designed to help you learn in a safe way and reach your goals as safely and quickly as possible. With International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) certified instructors that will respect your learning rate and take you through all the steps to reach your goals. For those interested in learning kitesurfing in Brazil in a beautiful location, look no further. While not yet well known as a kiteboarding destination as northern Brazil ,Florianopolis is an ideal spot for you to learn kitesurfing. Lagoa da Conceição with its calm waters is the perfect spot for learning and Barra da Lagoa and Campeche waves are ideal for kite wave.
