Guincho Wayra House is situated in a picturesque valley, overlooking the breathtaking Sintra-Cascais Natural Park and just minutes from Guincho Beach. Our Villa is the only Hostel in Cascais situated within walking distance of the most captivating beach of the Iberian Peninsula, Praia do Guincho, that makes a perfect refuge for lonely travelers, couples and groups of friends who love nature and water sports.

CAMP OPERATOR

Laura Quiroga is an IKO-2 Senior certified instructor as well as a professor in physical education. With over 15-years of instructor experience in Cape Verde, Brazil; Tarifa, Spain, and Portugal. Laura has taught over 5000 hours of kitesurf classes sharing with countless people from all nationalities her passion for kitesurfing.
Kitesurf Adventures offers activities for everyone. We can offer adventure activities, Paddle Board (SUP), Surf and Adventure activities. We comply with ALL legal and safety requirements by the Portuguese Government, Maritime Police, Tourism Board of Portugal and the International Kiteboarding Association (IKO).
Our instructors are incredibly dynamic and very professional in the different sports training that our school offer.

Our Hostel can accommodate up to 14 guests in 2 beautiful private and two shared rooms, all oriented to face the sunset with spectacular views over the lush green and the sea. It has three comfortable sharing bathrooms. Our living room is perfect for relaxing and reading. We have an extensive library with books in several languages. Guests can prepare their meals in a fully-fledged kitchen. We can arrange an airport transfer for an additional fee.

SURF COURSE DETAILS

All Classes includes wetsuit, insurance, and gear hire.
We do also have packages including transport to the spots. At KA, our courses are designed according to the rules of instruction set by the IKO Federação de Vela. Upon completion of your course, you will be presented with international certification (IKO card).
KA is the one of the few schools in Portugal specialising and experienced in teaching children from 9 years up. We provide all inclusive semi-private lessons for children, insured and with full safety precautions.  Depending on wind conditions, courses can  expect to last 3 days.
You no longer have any excuses not to go in the water! We provide a shuttle service with meeting points in Lisbon, Cascais and the area of Guincho. Ask us about our promotional packs! We provide all the necessary gear, accident insurance and IKO certification.
Lessons are taught in Spanish, English, Portuguese, Italian or German. Our goal is to offer you an unforgettable experience while having fun learning with us at some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

We offer kitesurfing, SUP, surfing, and rock climbing lessons appropriate for all levels. We also organize mountain bike excursions, mindfulness walks, and hiking.
We have a bright and broad Yoga-Shala to practice Yin and Hatha Yoga, as well as, extraordinary therapists in Wayra House offering Thai, Ayurvedic, Balinese massage and a range of other healing treatments.

During the winter months, the lagoon is full of water even at low tide. It is a very safe and beautiful landscape. It is ideal for learning kitesurf with Northwest, West and Southwest wind.
