ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

Playa Negra is located in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica, and it has been drawing beginner, intermediate, and advanced surf enthusiasts to its banks for many years. Surfers find that there are plenty of fun, easy waves to catch, and the people are always so welcoming in this area.

Costa Rica is open to all surf abilities, either you are advance surfer, improve your skills or take the chance to learn and catch your first wave.

Playa Negra Surf Lodge isn’t like large, chain hotels, where guests are treated like “just another number.” At our hotel, every single guest is welcomed and appreciated. We take every detail of the guest experience seriously, and we are proud to offer affordable packages that take all the research, stress, guesswork out of your vacation.

Newly renovated bright laid back boutique style hotel, situated in the heart of a rural community very quiet, offering something for every guest. Beyond each special room we also offer complimentary amenities: Pool, secure parking, our hip restaurant market boasting organic and locally sourced foods curated by our Chef Mike.

Private rooms for 1-5 people.

All inclusive meals in packages or self catering with kitchen on site.

SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES

Open for all levels.

Boards included for lessons, also possible to rent.

We have a wide range of activities, for example sailing, snorkeling, horse back riding, hot springs and different kinds of trips.
