Our 18 m2 private tents are sanctuaries of tranquillity, perfect for couples or individuals seeking luxury. Embracing a handmade minimalist design, each tent features a wooden floor, a comfortable queen size bed with cosy bedding and towels, private lighting, power outlets and mosquito-net bespoke decor that harmonises with the natural surroundings.

Shared

Our 23m2 shared tents offer a unique blend of community and comfort. Designed for the social traveller, these tents provide a cosy, communal atmosphere, accommodating up to 4 guests without sacrificing personal space. Each tent is thoughtfully outfitted with comfy bedding, power outlets, energy-efficient lighting, and mosquito-net ensuring a restful and environmentally friendly stay.

Our surfing programs are tailored, offering personalised instruction from certified professionals, ensuring that guests of all skill levels achieve their surfing goals.

HOW OUR SURF PROGRAMS WORK

---

Upon arrival at the camp, our instructors will be in touch with you to make sure you have the right instructions and material for your lessons. After analysing everyone’s previous experience, they will make your surf lessons schedule for the week separating the classes in different levels.

· Level 0 Beginner: never surfed before less than 2 weeks in the last 2 years ·

· Level 1 Beginner: surfed for more than 2 weeks in the last 2 years ·

· Level 2 Beginner/Intermediate: surfed for more than 2 months ·

Each level will have a specialised program to ensure everyone’s benefit.

Our priority is that you have a wonderful time with friends, while gaining a great amount of knowledge from our professional coaches.

We will keep our lessons with a maximum of 5 students per coach to ensure the best outcome of every surf lesson.

We believe that the Knowledge in surfing can be useful for everyone to learn and share the right way, so we offer a free surf theory class for everyone.

At Wave Nest, our yoga experience is a symphony of mind, body, and nature. Set in the tranquil surroundings of our eco-friendly camp, our yoga sessions offer a perfect balance of serenity and invigoration. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll embark on a journey of self-discovery and relaxation, harmonising with the rhythmic sounds of the ocean.

Our classes cater to all levels, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Whether greeting the sunrise or unwinding at dusk, our yoga experience is an oasis of calm, enhancing your connection to nature and inner peace.

Praia de Quiaios

Nestled within a serene natural park, just a three-minute walk from the beach and shadowed by majestic mountains, Wave Nest Surf Camp offers an idyllic escape. We are located inside ‘Parque de campismo de Quiaios’, just in front of Quiaios Beach, one of the biggest sand dune coasts in Portugal.

The local town of Quiaios, brimming with friendliness and charm, offers delightful dining experiences and quaint local markets. Despite its proximity to the vibrant city of Figueira da Foz, the camp remains a secluded sanctuary, boasting a vast, peaceful beach.

The camp’s atmosphere is one of tranquillity and positive vibes, a perfect setting for making unforgettable friends and memories.

Beyond surfing, the area comes alive with tiny summer festivals and lively beachside nightlife, offering a rich tapestry of experiences. Here, guests are not just learning to surf; they’re immersing themselves in a community, creating lasting connections and experiencing the joy of discovery in a setting that’s both enchanting and exhilarating.

JOURNEY

Our camp is around 90 minutes driving from Porto Airport and around 2h driving from Lisbon Airport, the best way to get to Quiaios is to take a train from either Porto or Lisbon to Coimbra train station B, a beautiful city just under 40 minutes away.

We also offer transfers from either airports and the train station B in Coimbra:

· Porto Airport (1:30h drive) – 40 € ·
· Lisbon Airport (2h drive) – 45 € ·
· Coimbra B train station (30 min drive) – 20 € ·

   Check-in and check-out on saturdays (please contact us for availability on other days)
    Check-in time: after 14:00 pm. You can arrive at the camp at any time during your check-in day, prior notification.
    Check-out time: before 12:00 pm. You are welcome to stay at the camp after this time if you need it, but you will have to leave your tent, otherwise you will be charged one extra day.

For the best camp experience, we suggest a Saturday-to-Saturday stay. This aligns perfectly with our weekly plan, maximising your participation in diverse activities. It’s the ideal way to fully enjoy what our camp has to offer and make the most of your time with us.
