ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
The World Surfing Reserve of Ericeira stretches over 4 kilometers and includes seven world-class waves and many beaches. In our opinion, Ribeira D’ilhas is one of the best beaches to surf in Ericeira as it offers a variety of waves for beginner-, intermediate- and advanced-level surfers.

Our team consists of local and international surfing enthusiasts. They like to embrace the surfing lifestyle and are not only soul surfers but are also qualified and certified teachers and Water Safety Specialists!

SURF COURSE DETAILS
Starting from Beginners to Intermediate Surf Lessons we’re here to give you guidance and coaching for your self improvement. Our instructors will teach you the fundamentals which guide you through the tough process of learning how to surf.
What beach will we be surfing at?
We always book the lessons according to the best conditions on that day. Most of our surf lessons are held at Ribeira D’ilhas beach, but if the conditions are challenging we might shift it to Matadouro Beach or Praia dos Pescadores.
SURF MATERIALS
What should I bring to the lesson?
You should bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and water bottle. You might also want to take some warm clothes, as it tends to cool down in the evenings. We provide all the surfing equipment, including surfboards, booties and wetsuits. It’s best to avoid bringing valuable belongings such as laptops, cameras etc., even if you come with your car.
Can I bring my own board and wetsuit?
Yes, in private lessons you can use your own board and wetsuit. Due to safety reasons, in group lessons, it’s better to use our equipment.
Can I rent a surfboard without taking a lesson?
Yes, we offer surfboard rentals for experienced surfers.

SURF CONDITIONS
Most surf breaks in Ericeira have a rock bottom. We therefore recommend being with a coach in your first sessions. Having a coach with you, is the best and safest way to improve your surfing.
Wind conditions in Ericeira can vary. We recommend you contact us to check the conditions.
