 Specializing in beginner, intermediate and advanced kitesurfing coaching, our team of passionate kitesurfing instructors offer professional tuition in a variety of different languages throughout the year using the latest Cabrinha equipment.

The IKO is recognised world- wide as the global governing body of kitesurf instruction, training and international certification. With an exclusive network of top- level examiners, professionally trained instructors and affiliated kiteboarding centres, the IKO ensures the highest level of teaching with standards recognised and applied throughout the world.

Our guests may choose between staying at the Diani Sea Lodge, which comes with the added benefit of having ‘on the spot’ access to the full kite center facilities or our privately run Quest Beach house, a stylish beachfront villa that provides an exclusive getaway for ocean lovers, kites surfers and todays digital nomad looking for a quiet & peaceful retreat to work remotely from whilst soaking up the sun and surfing the waves!


Quest Beach House

Conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Diani, you will find supermarkets, cash points, fruit and vegetable stalls as well as several local restaurants and cafes all within walking distance of the property.

All 6 spacious double bedrooms come ensuite with AC, Wi-Fi and garden facing balconies to enjoy the seas breeze and stunning Indian ocean views.

The grounds of the plot include a lush tropical garden, swimming pool, massage zone and exclusive private beach space that guarantees all our guests the maximum comfort during their stay with us.

Available on an exclusive basis only, the beach house is managed by our professional team and comes fully staffed with a chef who will shop on your behalf and prepare daily meals based upon request as well as house staff for cleaning and laundry, gardener/pool attendant and night guard for security.

For those looking to explore all the ocean has to offer, our professional IKO kitesurfing school is located less than 1 km down the beach offering lessons, equipment rental packages and rescue boat safety support for independent riders.

For free-riders and groups of independent kite surfers that are looking for a quiet, exclusive retreat with world class conditions right on their doorstep, our private beach equipped with Lamu swinging bed and Swahili style beach umbrellas provides the perfect chill spot directly in-front of the villa.

Diani Sea Lodge

For clientele searching for ocean facing rooms that are located directly at the kite school, we would always recommend the Sea view Bahari Rooms.

Set on the most beautiful unspoilt crystal white sandy beach on the south coast of Kenya, the expansive compound is shaded by coconut palms and a myriad of exotic trees and flowers.

The resort offers the ultimate tropical paradise.

Animal life abounds in the compound and various varieties of monkeys including the endangered Colobus monkey, can be seen jumping around in the vicinity.

Set in an expansive tropical garden, the hotel has 168 rooms. The rooms are of three categories:

Superior rooms with garden view Renovated comfort rooms with garden view Bahari rooms

All rooms have flat screen T, V’s, mosquito nets and split level A.C.

Bahari rooms offer a stocked mini bar and are located closer to the sea.

Family rooms are on offer in each category.


Sunrise Villa


Feel at home in one of our private luxury villas. The Sunrise Villa is roughly 4 km's from the centre of Diani and only 300 metres from the beach.

Furnished with elegance in classic Swahili style, this villa comes equipped with kitchen, an assortment of shared common areas with Swahili style sofas to relax on, as well as a dining area that overlooks the private tropical garden, massage zone and pool.

Bedrooms consist of 3 double rooms with private bathroom as well as an upstairs safari tent that caters as another double.

Staffed during the day with a cleaning lady and a security guard at night, the staff are always on hand to assist our guests and provide support where needed.

Sunrise Villa provided its guests with opportunity to utilise the villa in exclusive stay or in BnB capacity.

All our lessons and coaching are conducted by professionally certified IKO Instructors with years of teaching experience in various locations and conditions.

 

Our Kite School Centre Manager is a BKSA and IKO Level 3 Senior Instructor with over 15 years of international experience teaching and managing professional centres around the world.

 

Our students are covered under the Kite Schools public liability insurance and the centre is compliant with all Kenyan Tourism Board Standards.

 

During the high seasons (December to March – June to September), kitesurfing courses are offered in a several languages including English, Kiswahili, German, Italian, Spanish and Polish.

SURF MATERIALS

The Kite School equipment is regularly changed every season ensuring our students are always learning on the latest Cabrinha Kites and Boards.

 

For 2021, we offer a full range of Cabrinha Kites to choose from including the award-winning Moto, Drifter, Switchblade, Contra and FX.

 

This year our range of foil gear has extended in Wing Surfing utilizing the latest 01 Cabrinha X-Fly, Autopilot and X2 wings.

 

Whilst learning with us, all the necessary safety apparel and equipment is provided and insured.

 

Additionally, we supply student Lycra- rash vests for the duration of the course, water refreshment, sun screen and after session towels to dry off with.

OTHER ACTIVITIES<

Available are:

* Day trips to the Shimba Hills National Park in Kwale County with guided waterfall experience and lunch at the lodge.
* 2/3 Day safari trips to the Tana Delta Dunes on full board with transport and park fees included.
* 2/3 Day safari trips to Tsavo East – Tsavo West – Amboseli on full board with 4x4 transport, professional local guide and park fees included.
* 2/3 Day safari trips to the Maasai Mara on full board with flights, daily game drives and park fees included.
