Well priced surf camp with great hospitality! Highly recommended Highly recommend this surf camp in Sri Lanka! Lahiru and his staff were extremely hospitable and responsive from the time we booked the surf camp until we checked out. Did our research on other surf camps and shortlisted this as the rooms looked clean and the surf package were relatively cheaper.
All in all a great experience. Amazed by the owner and his crew’s passion for surfing and support for local businesses! Will definitely come back. Accommodation matches the pictures on trip advisor. Rooms were clean with a rooftop bar which was much needed after each surf session. Food provided by the surf camp was well prepared and delicious. Surf camp lessons were enjoyable and well organized. Good mix of local and foreign instructors which made surfing enjoyable and easy to comprehend

One of my Best Surf Trip Experiences Ever I rarely write reviews for anything but the reputation these guys have is well deserved. As a solo traveler who already knew how to surf I wanted to find a place where I’d meet lots of people. And The Surfer was perfect. Lahiru (the owner) and his entire crew really take care of their guests. They are all really friendly. The food is awesome and the rooms are really clean. If you’re looking for a place with a great community and awesome vibe, you’ll love this place.

Best surf camp We had a great time here. The place is perfect for surfing. The owner and all staff are super friendly and warm-hearted!!!
We stayed 1.5 weeks and returned after a week again for another week. The accommodation is very modern and clean. the rooms are cleaned every day. The food is very good ( with a lot of delicious vegetarian food options ) and the prices are fair.
the communal food and games are perfect. Everything was perfect!
Thank you for the good time and for the good surf lessons.
(the surfcamp has picked up a street dog and is now taking care of her, she is sooo cute and happy now.)

Perfect surf hostel The Surfer is the kind of place that you never want to leave. It has the perfect beach/surfer /hostel vibe without being hipster or snobbish.
The dorm was simple but very nice and clean (the single beds were a little bit too soft for my back but I guess other people would not mind).
I came as a solo traveller and left as a part of a big family ;) The host and the staff were really nice and professional. They organized a lot of cool games and dinner nights in the evening. The surf and yoga instructors were just amazing and so friendly. The location was perfect if you want to be close to the beach without being in the noisy part of the main street.Food was delicious and pretty cheap.

Wenn Du den perfekten Strandurlaub mit tropischen Palmen über dem Kopf und Wellen, die nur wenige Meter entfernt sind, im Sinn hast, dann ist es das. Die angebotenen Zimmer sind ideal für Einzelreisende, Paare, Gruppen oder Familien. Das Surfer-Strandcamp hält Tweel-Zimmer zur Verfügung und jedes Zimmer hat seinen eigenen privaten Balkon und ein eigenes Bad. Wenn Du Deine neuesten Fotos aus dem Line-Up hochladen möchtest, dann teilen wir gerne unser kostenloses WiFi mit allen unseren Gästen.
Die meisten von euch denken wahrscheinlich auch an die Hitze und schlafen nachts. Sri Lanka ist nicht so schlimm. Hier im The Beach Hotel werden die Zimmer Tag und Nacht immer eine kühle Brise haben. Außerdem sind alle Zimmer mit Ventilatoren und großen Fenstern zur Terrasse ausgestattet, so dass Du dich Deinen persönlichen Bedürfnissen anpassen kannst. Wenn Du ein klimatisiertes Deluxezimmer mit Dachseeblick haben möchtedt, ist das auch bei uns möglich, wenn Du zwischen dem Surfen aus irgendeinem Grund woanders als in Deinem Zimmer abhängen willst, ist unser Dachrestaurant und der Chillingbereich der beste Ort, an den Du gelangen könntest.... wenn Du das Gefühl hast, dass Du dort schwimmen möchtest, hast Du die Möglichkeit in unserem neu angegliederten Pool...
