I absolutely loved my time at Salty and can only recommend it to anyone looking for a yoga retreat or simply a beautiful place to stay in Hiriketiya. The facilities are amazing and you're just a short walk away from stunning beaches. The best part by far is the incredible staff though, from reception to management to bar everyone is just so friendly and attentive and really tries to make sure you have a great stay. 100% recommended!

We went to the Salty Pelican in the beginning of January 2020. The place had just opened. Everything was perfect! First of all we had the pleasure of being welcomed by Monika. A smiling, cheerful woman whose energy is contagious. She was always around to help us and to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Then we discovered the place: the swimming pool is perfect for relaxing, the rooms are exceptional (well decorated, large, with a nice little balcony), the yoga shala, the dining room, the room near the entrance ... everything is perfectly arranged. The atmosphere is young, calm and invites a sense of well-being. The food is exceptional and all the staff is worthy of mention! Especially D. who was always happy to make us delicious cocktails.

The yoga classes are just perfect! The teachers are attentive and all different in their approach. We were particularly moved during a class with Lily. I normally have a lot of trouble meditating but Natasha managed to give me the chance to practice it. The surf spot was also great!
