Be Coached by the Best At Alive Adventures we operate with an exceptional team of coaches who are fully qualified surfing instructors and lifeguards with over 50 years of surfing and ocean experience between them. Arguably most importantly, our team is dedicated to giving our students the best surfing experience anywhere. We believe that by providing the right foundations, top quality instruction and excellent equipment, all our students can begin their journey of developing into capable surfers. Above all else, we live by our motto ‘be safe and have fun’!

Port56 a tourist board certified family run smart modern B&B in beautiful Portstewart on the North Coast of Ireland. Ideally located and packed full of fancy features PORT 56 offers our guests a comfy, cozy stay with our local knowledgeable staff always about to help you out. We have 8 beautiful rooms to cater for all needs from couples to families of up to six people. 5 star luxury beds in King Size, Queen Size and bunks in some rooms Stylish en-suites with power rain showers With our adjustable heating and airflow system in each room you are in control of your comfort always. Guests have free high-speed Wi-Fi connection throughout the whole accommodation space. Relax and be entertained with our large flatscreen smart TVs in every room.

A buffet style breakfast is provided every morning at Port56, including coffee and tea. In the evenings you will be able to enjoy the Quays Bar & Gastropub (https://www.quaysgastropub.com/), located in the beautiful seaside town of Portrush on the North Coast. The cozy and inviting establishment offers a wide range of delicious food and drinks to suit every taste. On the menu you will find a variety of pub classics, as well as fresh, locally-sourced seafood and seasonal specials. There’s an extensive selection of beers, wines, and cocktails to choose from, and the friendly staff are always on hand to help you find the perfect drink to pair with your meal. In addition to the indoor dining area, there’s also a spacious covered outdoor Atrium where you can relax and enjoy the fresh sea air.

Alive adventures will take you out on daily deluxe surf sessions, starting in their surf centre, featuring a private lounge, changing rooms and hot showers for after your surf. This is where you will get an overview of the conditions, instructions, get to pick your surfboard for the day, review the session as well as some lovely pre- and post surf chat, coffee and tea, beer and prosecco.

Let’s be honest, the main reason we are all out in the water is to have as much fun as possible and have the best chance of surfing a wave to the shore. We carefully buy only the best equipment designed to make surfing as easy and as fun as possible. Our surfboards, whether you are renting surfing equipment or going for a surfing lesson are large and buoyant, this means they are as stable as possible when catching waves – don’t get too cocky though as having wipe-outs are a guarantee! We also fit every student with an all-year-round winter wetsuit to ensure they can thoroughly enjoy their lesson whilst being warm and comfortable.

GIANTS CAUSEWAY WALKING TOUR
The Giants Causeway is the home of Finn McCool, a local Giant who built the Causeway to Scotland. Enjoy your own private walking tour across the 40,000 basalt columns created by volcanic eruptions (but really by Finn!). The Giants Causeway is the only naturally created UNESCO World Heritage site on the island of Ireland and is considered by many to be the highlight of their journey along the famous Causeway Coastal Route.

Tour the Causeway Coast in style with our fleet of more than 20 eBikes, including the Nevo 3 or Load 75 eBikes! You’ll be able to find the best waves and explore the natural beauty of Causeway Coast from the historical Dunluce Castle and Bushmills Distillery to The Giants Causeway and Ballintoy harbour! eBikes will not only allow you to explore areas not previously possible but will allow you to travel further, faster and for longer, in the most fun way possible!

BUSHMILLS WHISKEY TOURS AND TASTING

Talk to Surf Camp Northern Ireland’s team, mention whiskey and you will get only one reply – Bushmills! Bushmills whiskey is more than 400 years old and the oldest licensed distillery in the world.

You will tour the distillery learning about copper pot stills and the production process of their triple distilled whiskeys. This is also the home of Conor McGregors whiskey Power 12 as well as Sexton, the number 1 selling single Irish malt in the US

 

No tour is complete without the tasting session at the end, the perfect end to another amazing afternoon at Surf Camp Northern Ireland!
