The 3 best surf camps on Fuerteventura
Corralejo
Among the most popular places in Fuerteventura, high on the list is the lively town of Corralejo, located in the north of the island and once a small fishing village. Despite the tourist infrastructure which has developed over time, Corralejo has retained its original charm and provides a pure holiday feeling with its beautiful white sandy beaches and small harbour. If you travel to Corralejo, you should not miss the spectacular dune area "El Jable", from which you can also see the small neighbouring island of Los Lobos. In addition to plenty of shopping facilities, restaurants and bars, there are also countless surf camp providers in the area as it is the perfect starting point for exploring the surf spots on the north, east and west coasts. But whether it's water sports or land-based activities such as hiking or mountain biking, Corralejo is the perfect place for almost any crowd and is particularly popular with young people thanks to the local nightlife. Most popular surf camps in Corralejo:

El Cotillo
Also in the north of the island, but on the west coast and much quieter, is the charming village of El Cotillo. The small fishing village has been spared the big tourist rush and, due to its location at the harbour, it is characterised above all by its fish restaurants. El Cotillo is particularly popular with surfers, who can pursue their passion undisturbed on the local beach, due to the optimal wind strengths and swells. Those who also long for some relaxation should definitely visit the beautiful lagoon beaches, the Playas de Los Lagos, in the surrounding area. From the airport, El Cotillo can be reached in about 45 minutes and it is a good idea to book a rental car during your stay in order to be able to explore other places on the island flexibly. Most popular surf camps in El Cotillo:

La Pared
If you head more towards the south of Fuerteventura, you usually don't get past the popular holiday resorts of Jandia and Morro Jable. But not far away and situated on the isthmus of the island, surf lovers in particular feel more than comfortable in the quiet village of La Pared. The strong surf here provides ideal conditions for surfing and in the evening, spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed on the beach. Shopping facilities and restaurants are very limited in La Pared, which you should be aware of before arriving. By car, however, you can be at Costa Calma within 10 minutes and the bathing beach Playa del Viejo Rey is also in the immediate vicinity. La Pared is the optimal choice for those who want to spend a surf holiday far away from the tourist strongholds. Most popular surf camps in La Pared:

Surf & yoga
Not only surfing is one of the most popular trend sports in the world, but yoga has also long since established itself in our society and stands above all for bringing body and mind into harmony. Yoga can be wonderfully combined with surfing because, depending on the practice, it promotes your strength and stability on the one hand, and on the other hand also stretches body regions that are particularly stressed during surfing. So it's no wonder that yoga is already an integral part of many surf camps and can be practised both as preparation and as relaxation after surfing. In many camps, such as the Amanay Surf School and the Nalusurf Surfcamp, you can find pure relaxation with other like-minded people in a yoga session after surfing and thus give the day a perfect ending. Most popular surf camps for surf & yoga:
