Moliets Plage is one of the most attractive seaside resorts on the Landes coast in France. In summer there are many surf schools and a relaxed atmosphere in the water. If you want to join the beach parties and learn to surf, then you should definitely come in July or August. If you are an avid or experienced surfer, the months between October and April are also suitable for you as winter offers the perfect sessions. Moliets beach usually has good peaks for all surf levels. Very good waves are often found near the mouth of the river. If you like it a bit quieter, cross the river and walk up the beach to the north. If you want to start your surfing adventure here, then it is advantageous for you to arrive in the summer months as the waves are smaller and break more calmly here. Your surf instructor will take you to the best spots, so nothing can stand in the way of your surfing career!

The water temperature is around 22 degrees in the summer months, although in the winter months it can drop to as low as 11 degrees. So if you come to surf in the winter months, make sure you have a good quality 4/3 mm wetsuit and boots with you.6. Transport
There is a small international airport in Biarritz. However, it is easier to travel via Bordeaux which is 150 kilometres away. If you want to rent a car or motorhome anyway, you could also fly to Toulouse or Bilbao. Both cities are served by some cheap airlines.
