CAMP CHARACTER
Our team don’t just “know how to surf”, but are actually trained in & passionate about teaching.
Our goal is to be your cheerleader & motivator during your lesson, to provide you positive feedback to enhance and improve your surf skill.
We offer a more exclusive, personalized, customized service/surf experience, but at prices comprable and competitive to the other schools in the area.
We are an eco, family, & LGBTQ friendly business- we welcome all people of all backgrounds. With our team at Avex, there is no stereotype of what a “surfer” should be, should look like, etc
CAMP OPERATOR
Gaston Baez, founder & owner of Avex Surf School Sayulita, was born and raised in the Patagonia region of Argentina.After traveling and living all over the world (such as Brazil, Ecuador, and Spain) Gaston began to take on the sport of surfing. In 2018 he officially turned “Avex” into Avex Surf School Sayulita.

ACCOMMODATION TYPES
You will experience luxury during your stay in your own private superior room with a kitchenette with basic amenities, bathroom, air conditioning, Wifi, and private balcony/terrazza with an ocean view, all just a short 5 minute walk from the beach and the main plaza of Sayulita, where you’ll find plenty of activities, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and nightlife close by.
Our rooftop restaurant and bar “Casa Paraíso” offers a menu inspired by local cuisine and ingredients, a new way of getting to know Mexico through its flavors and textures. Drink a mezcal with us and enjoy the magic of Sayulita from the privileged view on the roof, or from one of the many terrazas where you can chill out to read a book, do yoga, or drink a mango margarita.
