Up-to-Date Kitesurf Equipment – Thanks to RRD & Flysurfer we provide the latest kitesurfing gear, including special kites for light winds and children. With RRD and Flysurfer kites that fly from as low as 4 knots, you’ll have the best start in your kitesurfing journey!

We use radio helmets for advanced kite lessons, therefore you can ride further, and practice more with the comfort of having the instructor with you.

It is important to realize that each type of accomodation in the area has its own advantages and disadvantages. Staying directly on the kite spot might be convenient for some people, but keep it in mind that dining and shopping opportunities are very limited there. Also, parties can get loud during the summer nights and there’s always some “festa” going on at the beach bars. Renting a bike at least is a must, and for those who would like to experience more of Sicily, we highly recommend renting a car!
We can also arrange car rental on the spot, if you have trouble finding a good company at the airports. We have been working together with locals, helping each other for years now, so we know what to expect from each accomodation and their owners. We cooperate with only the most trustworthy and hospitable  people, so there will be no surprises with your bookings.

Isole Dello Stagnone

This B&B is just a few hundred meters from our kite spot. They offer comfortable, private rooms and breakfast for 70-80eu/ night. It’s great value for money. Ideal for those who prefer to be walking distance from the kite school, but not in the midst of the party zone on the beach

Torre Lupa

These apartments  were one of the first big complexes in this area, and still one of the few with reception service and a swimming pool. Their apartments have 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen.

It’s a bit further from the kite lagoon, but very tranquil and it is near the center of the village Ideal for families, kids just love to hang out by the pool and play with the kittens.

Arrive on Time for the Best Experience

Our instructors prepare your gear 30 minutes before your lesson starts. Please arrive 15 minutes early to maximize your time on the water – the wind waits for no one! Sometimes we have wind only for a short time and arriving late could reduce your lesson time. The wind may come later than expected,  in this case, we have a comfortable chill area to spend our time while waiting. Keep in mind that it’s a sport strongly connected to nature’s forces therefore it requires some patience and flexibility.

Private kitesurf lessons in Sicily are the best option for fast skill development and progression. Always windy!
In Sicily, wind is not just a natural phenomenon; it’s a way of life. From the gentle zephyrs to the robust breezes, the island’s coastline offers an unparalleled playground for kitesurfers seeking the ultimate adrenaline rush. But as any seasoned kite surfer knows, mastering the wind requires more than just skill—it demands the right equipment and a deep understanding of Sicily’s unique atmospheric dynamics. Our school has kites from 2.5-17m2 & boards from 130-160cm for every condition!

We boast a secret weapon against the whims of the wind: Flysurfer kites. These specialized kites are engineered to harness even the slightest breezes, making them essential companions for riders seeking to glide effortlessly in the light conditions. Unlike traditional tube kites, which typically require wind speeds of 8-10 knots to take flight, Flysurfer kites defy convention by soaring gracefully from as low as 6-7 knots.

Don’t worry if the forecast doesn’t show wind! During summer we have constant thermal winds coming in the afternoons what is not always forecasted! On average we have 4-7days/week with wind!

SURROUNDINGS / REGION

Our kite spot is located in one of the best areas of Lo Stagnone! We have plenty of space for launching and landing the kites safely. Right in front of us there is a huge shallow and sandy area to practice for beginners. For advanced riders, who want to jump, it is recommended to go a bit further  in, where the water is at least knee deep. There’s also an option for foiling in beautiful turquise water just outside of the lagoon, where in South wind we can organize downwinders.

We have a chill area with wifi, a bar, shower and toilet, storage, a kids corner and an outdoor gym on the spot.

You can Fly to Trapani (7km) or Palermo Airport (80km)
