ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING

The Hotel Garnì Orchidea is situated in a very peaceful area surrounded by a large olive grove. The hotel is located in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake, surrounded by nature and only 800 meters away from “Fraglia Vela Malcesine”, two kilometers from the center of Malcesine, and 900 meters from the beach.

The hotel is just one and a half kilometers from the new cable car station which will take you up in a few minutes to Monte Baldo, known as the botanical garden of Europe. At the top, you can go for walks, ride a mountain bide, or fly on a paraglider. About six kilometers from Malcesine, there is a daily shuttle bus served throughout the season from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., for 1.20 EUR per person. This makes the mobility to the nearby locations easy and convenient.

Home ? How to get to Lake Garda ? Transport Lake Garda is easily accessible whether you travel by car, plane or train. Highways Lake Garda can also be reached via the motorway network: with the A4 Milan - Venice, which passes south of the lake, you reach the towns of the Brescia and lower Veronese coasts and with the A22 Brennero - Modena which runs through the area east of the lake, it allows you to reach the Garda towns of the Veronese coast and thirty. Airports The most convenient airport to reach Lake Garda is certainly that of Villafranca di Verona, just 20 km away. The Bergamo Orio al Serio airport is also nearby, from which you can reach the lake by taking the A4 motorway towards Venice for about 40/50 minutes. Thanks to the motorway connections, Lake Garda is still easily reachable from the airports of Milan, Venice, Treviso and Bologna. At the Catullo di Villafranca airport there is a convenient shuttle service operated by the ATV (Verona Transport Company) which allows you to reach Lake Garda by bus, this is line 164.

Railway stations For those traveling by train, there are stations in some of the towns on the Garda coast in Peschiera del Garda and Desenzano del Garda.
